Alex: Alex couldn't help but grin at Toby's offer and nod her head excitedly. "Thanks Toby," She said with a smile before waving over Jack. "C'mon weirdo, why don't you sit with us?"

Jack: Jack smirked at Alex before chuckling and nodding his head. Grabbing his plate with his sandwich he made his way to the pair and sat down by Alex. "Thanks," He told them both before taking another bite of his sandwich.

Ooc: Yeah, that would help speed things up a bit.

River: River looked up at Daniel in surprise when she felt him touch her hair. "That's okay?" she said with a smile and like it was a question. she wondered why he kept touching her hair, did he like it that much. "Yeah that's fine" she said starting to exit the kitchen.

OOC: I think that's fine.

OOC: Unfortunately, that will have to wait for next time I'm on.

Daniel: Daniel smiled and nodded at River, and then he picked up his plate and walked into the dining room. He strolled over to the table where Alex, Jack and Toby were sitting. "Do you guys have room for two more?"

Alex: Alex smiled at Daniel and River before gesturing to the nearest empty two seats happily. "Absolutely," She chirped before taking a bite of her apple.

Alex: Alex grinned at Toby before finishing her salad and popping her grapes in her mouth. Looking at the fruit, she started thinking about other foods quickly coming to broccoli. "Am I the only one who thinks broccoli look like small bushes? Oh, and mushrooms look like aliens?" She asked randomly while inspecting a grape before eating it.

Jack: Jack stared at Alex curiously before looking at Toby, then back at the girl. "Random," He noted before smiling slightly," But no, you're not the only one. I hate both of those but I do think they look like aliens and bushes."

Daniel: Daniel smiled and nodded at River, and then he picked up his plate and walked into the dining room. He strolled over to the table where Alex, Jack and Toby were sitting. "Do you guys have room for two more?"

Toby: Toby smiled at Jack when he looked at him questioning Alex's question, and then standing to get himself food said "yeah, they're both gross" not even realizing that he had just agreed with Jack on something.

Toby: Toby came back to the table with a sandwich and a bag of chips, his appetite was suddenly back. He sat back down and naturally looked to Alex and smiled.

Jack: Jack looked at Alex for a moment thinking. Looking down slightly and seeing we eating an apple he asked randomly," Do you only eat fruits and vegetables?"

Alex: Alex laughed and turned to Jack with a smile. "No, but I do eat them a lot. If I eat too many sweets or don't eat enough natural foods I get really weak and sluggish. That's why I eat a couple times a day, or have snacks, of blueberries and things," She explained casually before placing her apple core in her bowl.

Alex: Alex shook her head as Jack told her about some time he got sick from eating so much candy and looked at Toby out of the corner of her eye. Seeing him being zoned out then coming back made her curious but didn't say anything. She simply smiled at him once again and turned back to Jack.

Jack: "Then the kid took my candy so I pushed him down and gave him a right hook," Jack finished his story proudly before taking the last bite of his sandwich. Wiping his mouth of any stray crumbs, he turned back to Alex to see her eyes wide and mouth dropped. "Problem babe?" He asked with a smirk seeing her blush slightly.

Alex: Alex shook her head," How did you go from telling me a story about eating too much candy to beating up a kid for the first time? Why would you even beat the kid up because he took a piece of taffy?" When he just shrugged with a grin she hit his arm and said," You really are a meathead."

Jack: "Then the kid took my candy so I pushed him down and gave him a right hook," Jack finished his story proudly before taking the last bite of his sandwich. Wiping his mouth of any stray crumbs, he turned back to Alex to see her eyes wide and mouth dropped. "Problem babe?" He asked with a smirk seeing her blush slightly.

He scrunched his face hearing Jack call Alex "Babe" but he quickly formed it into a sort of smile hoping his initial reaction may not have been noticed. He laughed slightly when Alex called Jack a meathead and looked down at his plate.

Alex: Alex looked to Toby with a smile seeing him looking at his plate and being quiet. As casually as she could, she asked quietly," Anything wrong?" There was a slight hint of worry in her voice but she couldn't hide it if she wanted to.

He sighed slightly immediately regretting it, wishing he would have admitted to Alex that something was bothering him. But he did want to admit it in front of the others, and especially in front of Jack.

She didn't feel like Toby was being honest but tried to ignore it, Toby would tell her anything she needed to know just like she does for him. Standing, Alex took her empty bowl and trash to the kitchen putting them away. Grabbing a water bottle she came back to the dining room and sat down in her spot.

River: River smiled as Alex came back to the table.

Toby: Toby smiled again trying to prove that he was fine. He would tell her what was bothering him later, when they weren't around anyone else. Toby stood up taking his own trash into the kitchen. He put his plate into the sink and then paused with his hands on the counter. He looked down and sighed, he wondered "was Max right? did he take what he had for granted." He stood his stomach churning at the thought.

He pushed steadily on the counter careful to control his strengths knowing all to well that he could push into it in a second leaving prints of his hands in it.

He felt completely drained, he felt that if he moved he would fall, his hands on the counter seemed to be the only thing keeping him standing. His thoughts no longer made sense, his mind was asking so many question they had wondered into all aspects of his life. Why did he have powers? Did his parents miss him? Were they tired of him? Was that why he was here? His mind continued rapidly asking question faster than anyone could humanly answer. He felt as though he was being consumed by them. His breathing became shorter no matter how much he tried to control it.

Seeing Toby Alex came to a sudden halt seeing everything wasn't alright. Cautiously, she walked behind Toby and gently tapped his shoulder. "Toby? Are you okay?" She asked quietly.
