I saved a few vacation packages on the WDW website. Sure enough, I got the 20/30/40 code. The only downside is that it expires on June 15. We are planning on going the following week!!! Grrrr....

What weeks did you save on the website? we're looking for the same week you are. I saved some also, but no code yet!:confused3

I saved two Moderate packages for June 19-29th. I called last night...no code. I called this morning, a code!!

But it expires June 15th. I am wondering if I call a few more times they may extend it. It is worth a shot.

Same here! I saved a few vacations and the next morning an e-mail from Disney Destinations with the 20-30-40 code!! WooHoo!!
Does anyone know if you can add the dining plan and tickets with this one? It's only worth it for us if we can get the dining plan, otherwise SOG is still much cheaper!

I also have some packages saved for a trip in August. Just out of curiousity, when you receive the code...does it come in your email or through the Disneyworld website? I'm really clueless about this!!

I saved room only, maybe I should have saved packages. Please, some pixie dust needed for a code.

I also saved room only. I was actually pricing room only on the off chance that they come off with a room discount for military again this year. I saved them because I remember hearing here that some people got pin codes e-mailed to them after doing so. I did take a trip last year and stayed at a disney resort. Does that maybe make a difference?

They come from Disney Destinations. I got a free dining pin earlier in the year, but couldn't use it. It came from Disney Destinations as well.

You can add dining and tickets to the discounted room rate but they will be full price.

Oh Thank you!! I figured they would be full price, but even at full price the dining plan really saved our family a lot of money last year. Now to crunch the numbers and see if it's worth it to switch from SOG.

Wait, who did you call? And did you call and then just ask them for a code?

I called WDW reservation line. I asked if there were any codes attached to my name. They said yes! The 20/30/40 code.
Try calling them, it is worth a try!!

So, let me see if I understand this...I have to go on the site...place the trip on hold and then call to see if there are any codes? Do I have to put a deposit down? Sorry I am new at the code thing:lovestruc

You DO NOT need to give a deposit. You simply play around with different packagaes. You "save" them on your WDW website account. Many times (not always) those saved trips may trigger a "code". they might be emailed or mailed to you. I did not wait, I just called Disney reservations.

You would think they would give out the codes to everyone!!

OP, I read your post, spent some time at lunch on the Disney website, then checked my email about an hour ago and :woohoo: B I N G O! I am the owner of the 20/30/40 pin code. Now, if I only could find a way to get my honey to agree to a trip in 2010. :guilty:

I doubt they'll extend it. Your pin is attached to a specific number that is used to add the discount to your reservation

It comes through your e-mail. Though I was pleasantly surprised that the most recent pin I received allowed me to price stuff online. Usually they make you call.

Sometimes it takes time before they attach a pin code to your name.

They would rather people pay full price for their vacations. That's another reason why they don't always send people pin codes they can use, they're hoping they book the vacation anyways.

I saved a vacation on the Disney site for February a couple of days ago and they sent me an email yesterday that had a PIN code with the following information. We just booked 7 nights at AKL for August. :cool1:

I did have to try a few times to get the pin and the cool thing is it has dates into December 2010. Good luck everyone!

I've been doing this since the end of October and no PIN yet. I've saved packages, room only, longer, shorter, deluxe, moderate, value, and two different weeks in May. Also I've done it with two different email accounts and made my husband do the same with his. And we have APs. :sad1:
