The Coca-Cola Company is discontinuing Tab

I've seen other super caffeinated drinks. Try coffee beans with added caffeine. Saw something with the name "Thailand Pony" sold as bulk coffee. The label on the bin said it had about double the caffeine of regular beans.

I didn't know they made Tab anymore, I don't see it in stores here.
Now if they decide to stop making Fresca I may have to do something drastic like fill my entire garage with it before they do.

Would it be like the movie Blast from the Past? One of the jokes in the movie was that the dad's favorite drink was hot Dr Pepper, and he had stockpiled tons of bottles that lasted him decades. Then when he sent his son out for supplies he came back with pallets of cans of Dr Pepper from a warehouse store.

I've had some weird experiences with old sold drinks. I managed to find one of those Coke bottles with my wife's name. Even after a couple of years it seems perfectly sealed although I made sure it was tightened a bit more than from the bottler. I also had a few Coke cans I brought from overseas as souvenirs. One can from China had no obvious leaks, but after a half year I shook it and found there was only a little bit of liquid left in there. I've had other cans that seemed intact with nothing missing after a decade.

It would definitely be like that LOL
If I had to store them they probably wouldn't last long anyway, they are a popular mixer in my circle so I'd have to share with everyone ;)

As far as I am concerned, I thought Tab was discontinued around 1975. :rolleyes2

It was definitely around in the 80's as my mom's friend alwyas drank it. Tab Clear came out in the early 90's too to compete with Crystal Pepsi (though why Tab and not Coke I'll never know). I did think the Tab brand pretty much died right after that though.

We owned a motel when I was growing up so we were lucky to have our own coke machine (small glass bottles) & it was always filled with Coke, Sprite, Dad's Root Beer and Tab.
