I made our ADRs at the 180 day mark. We are now at less than 70 days and the seriously planning has set in. We are on DDP :goodvibes

I have this ADR itinerary:

Sunday: DTD HoB (rest.com cert)
Monday: Epcot lunch- Le Celier
dinner- akershus
Tuesday: MK dinner- Crystal Palace
Wednesday: dinner- Ohana
Thursday: AK lunch- Tusker House
Friday: HS dinner- Sci Fi DI

We have eaten at HoB, Crystal Palace, Sci Fi, and Ohana for breakfast.

Now that they have announced new restaurants on DDP I am tempted to dump Tusker House for something in DTD. Is Tusker House really that good? We have picky eaters.

I've learned to not look at my ADRs or I will want to change them myself. Your ADRs look really good, especially the Tusker House lunch. We did this for the first time in May and have vowed to come back each time we are in AK. There is so much variety and wonderful flavors there that we were really surprised. And since Tusker House lunch is now a character meal....it is just icing on the cake :thumbsup2.

I think you have made great choices. Akershus is a great character experience with a princess parade at the end, so have your DD dress up. I regretted not adding a breakfast at the castle b/c of how much my DD enjoyed Akershus and the princesses. I tried to eat at Akershus again during our visit, but it was all booked up. If you have a daughter who loves princesses, consider both.

And, I agree you should keep Tusker House. I have only eaten breakfast there, but it was a really really good buffet. We would def eat there again. The character interaction was also very good and it has a cozy feel to it.

Finally, keep Crystal Palace. Love that one, too :)

My only concern is Monday. Will you be hungry for a TS dinner after eating at Le Celliar? We ate at Le Celliar for dinner and were so stuffed, I can't imagine wanting a big dinner. Just a thought. :goodvibes

Thanks :) this planning has been particularly stressful as my parents are going too. So I will keep Tusker I guess, thanks.

I booked Akersush for my dd, a Belle fanatic. Fingers crossed she is there. I couldnt justify 2 credits for CRT, but that's just me.

My big worry is SciFi. I wish HS had more options
.

I think Belle is always the greeter at Akershus, but she is brief and doesn't rotate through the tables. Be sure to talk to her as much as you can, b/c the photogs try and rush you to your table. The pictures are beautiful that they give to you. Make sure she dresses like Belle if possible, she will get more attention that way and it is more fun.

I agree that DHS has pretty poor options for TS. I have heard that the 50's place is good and has good food.

I agree with the PP. Belle is always the greeter and main princess! Great opportunity to visit with great pics. Sci fi is my least favorite of all the TS at HS. Very poor choses. I enjoy the 50's primetime cafe the most. Good home cooking and a great atomsphere. Our kids loved it! If they like playhouse disney Hollywood and Vine my be good (but never eaten there). If you dd loves princess (Cinderella) 1900 park fare is a great chance to see her and prince charming and not 2 ts either. My daughter and son enjoyed it. It was the first time he had eaten with a prince. :rotfl:

I think you made some great choices. You have some of my favs--Akershus and O'hanas. The only one I snarled my nose at was Sci Fi, but you've been there before so you know what to expect. Not everyone's tastes are the same. There aren't really any good choices at HS. I would probably opt for 50's Prime Time before Sci Fi, but that's just my opinion. Don't stress about the reservations. Go with your gut and feel good about it. I say this but I always fret about my reservations as I get closer too. :)

Yeah sci ri isn't the best. But we tried 50s prime time too and didn't think it was any better in our opinion, so I went with scifi for its theming which is fun I guess. Anything is better than H&V I guess.

We do have a Disney store belle dress we are bringing, dd will be thrilled. Thanks for ur input. I am trying to make sure I have the best shot at my parents not complaining about restaurants :rotfl2:
