Once upon a time, DH and I looked forward to grabbing cinnamon rolls from MSB before exiting MK for the evening with the intention of eating them for breakfast the next morning. I know that that is no longer possible these days and that the cinnamon rolls from Gaston's (maple-flavored icing and all) are the alternative. So here are my questions: Is it even possible to get them in the evening? Or do they only sell them during breakfast? If they do sell them all day, do they run out? Or are they fairly well stocked?

I know not everyone is a fan of these rolls, but I just like to know what my options are.

Thanks! :goodvibes

I'm not sure about evening, but I had one in the late afternoon. I thought the cinnamon roll was delicious, but I never did try one from the MSB.

They are quite good and, for now, a close second to the real thing. There was indeed something special about getting them at MSB and watching the CM gather up extra icing from the pan and put it all over the roll and then actually have somewhere in MSB to sit and eat it. There seemed to be such an outcry when MSB was first drained of all of its character and tables (translate: Starbucks), I'm surprised WDW has not put those same rolls somewhere else. A bakery on small town "main street" just seems so logical. I guess the mighty dollar beats everything else these days, but thankfully the recipe is out there on the internet, so I can make it at home (but never quite as good!).

In my opinion they are better closer to breakfast time. We had one at 10 on our first trip and one at 12 on our second trip. The 10AM one was amazing...the 12PM one tasted like it had been sitting a while.

We had one mid afternoon and it was delicious. We split it between 5 of us because it was so huge.

I have not had the pleasure of gastons but loved MSB ones, does Gastons serve breakfast then :)

Bought one right before wishes in December. Took it to room for breakfast the next morning.

I had one late in the day and it was awful, dry and pretty tasteless  They were not at all close to the warm, moist, gooey ones from the Main Street Bakery :rolleyes1

WELL great! Thanks for telling me about a big cinnamon roll! haha!:rotfl: Cinnamon Rolls and donuts are my weakness!!! I will definitely be going to Gaston's for that! Can you use a snack credit for one??:)

We got one very late in the evening there, just prior to closing. (Somewhere around midnight.) It was huge, and delicious - we split it four ways. :goodvibes Additionally, GT was a great little place to cool off on a hot, steamy night.

We usually do the same with a cinnamon bun from Kringala (Norway bakery) just before Illuminations. Yum

I'm hoping to have 1 (or 2) of these on our next trip because we loved the ones MSB used to serve.
