I am not sure The Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise will ever have time to post.

It's my understanding that celebrities get to stay if they make a hefty charitable donation. Regular folks only get to stay if they've won it in a sweepstakes. I'm not sure if it is an option for Make a Wish trips. Doubtful that you will find anyone here on the boards that has ever stayed as its not open for the general public to book.

DW and DD dined next to Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes at BOG last Saturday. They were not able to determine if they were staying in the castle, however.

Doubtful that you will find anyone here on the boards that has ever stayed as its not open for the general public to book.

Actually if I remember correctly someone on the DIS did stay there one night back in 2007 (Year of a Million Dreams) and talked about it in a trip report. However you are correct that it is highly doubtful that anyone that did win one of those castle stays back then will see this thread.

They gave a way a night in the castle to a random guest at WDW every night in 2008 as part of the Year of a Million Dreams. So it wouldn't be all that odd to find one or two posting here on the DIS.

I have a friend who won a one night stay during the million dreams sweepstakes. She said it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. I was jealous until I won the OMDD sweepstakes last year.

I was actually referring to the Year of a Million Dreams as a matter of fact. Sorry if I never mentioned it in my original post. Just wasn't sure if anyone here who may have visited the World during that time ever won the chance to spend a night up there.

I believe that there was a chance to win a night in the castle suite during Disney's 2008 Year of a Million Dreams promotion. One of these was given out per day, so around 365 families have experienced the room.

Yes! There were definitely a couple of posts at least from families chosen during YOAMD.

Nope. Once "park clear" is called, they can't leave the suite without an escort. This is when all the pixie dust comes out to clean and fix the MK, and it's not safe for guests to roam.
