My DH and I are going to The World in June and we have an ADR for The Chrystal Palace. I couldn't find much info on it on the website. I know I can count on ya'll to give me a thoughtful critique on this dining experience. :goodvibes

Ok I am a huge tigger fan but aside from that Crystal Palace is my favorite buffet to eat at and a MOST do every time I go to Disney. The food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly and well the characters they are my favorite. If you want read more reviews there are other websites to go on www.allears.net. I have eaten there about 10 times since 2005 and I have NEVER had a bad experience there.

Boma and Crystal Palace are our must do buffets for dinner. There is a good selection at CP, food is fresh and well prepared.

Breakfast is AWESOME!!!! Typical breakfast foods - bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, puffed french toast (THE BEST), fresh fruit, pastries, etc.

Question:
Anyone ever try and get a walk-up for Dinner? We are thinking of changing some ADR's around, but this one is booked. We will be there early June.

I don't know about walk ups. I've read some nightmares on allears.net about seating and wait times for CP. :scared1:

Crystal Palace is one of our favorites. We've done lunch and dinner there and love both! They have a lot of variety! I definitely recommend it! (And I love the characters too) :)

We love the Crystal Palace! We've decided it will be our first night dinner every time. The food is outstanding, and I normally do not like buffets. The character interaction is great. Our son (then 6 yrs. old) told us that "Pooh was for babies"...we had to laugh when he was the leader of the parade during dinner...too cute :) We're going on the 31st and cannot wait to kick off our stay with the Crystal Palace our first night :)

We ate there a few weeks ago and were not impressed. From the PP, maybe we hit it on a bad night, but I have no plans of going back. It was that bad. We had eaten there for breakfast in Oct and thought we would try it for dinner. The character interaction was good and the service was great, but the food was lukewarm. The 1900 Park Fare dinner was so much better. I would definitely eat there again!

I really liked CP. I want to do it for breakfast, but we had Dinner last time and it was really good! There were a lot of different options, and everything I had was really tasty. Plus the character interaction is a blast!

It was in 2008 but if you get one of the last seatings of the evening then you can get your pictures of the entire pooh gang at once. This made my special needs DD day. She talked about it the rest of the trip.
