Being a fan of The Chew since their first day on the air I'm thrilled to find that they will be filming during the week we will be visiting WDW & the Food &Wine event. Does anyone from last year have any information or tips on when and how to request a seat for the taping of the shows? TIA!

Last year everything was submitted through The Chew and lucky guests weren't told until a short time prior to the taping.

Moving to TPAS for you to hopefully get more responses.

I did not go last year as I was in Florida the week before taping, but I was looking for tickets in case my parents wanted to stay a little extra and try and see a taping. The Chew website, http://abc.go.com/shows/the-chew, has a place to click for tickets and takes you to a site, http://1iota.com/Show/383/The-Chew, where you can watch for when tickets will be available to be requested. It lists the days, 10/5/16-10/7/16, and the times for taping.

Thanks so much! Can always count on the Dis!

I've been looking everyday for about a month. I see they have added more dates to their New York tapings, but nothing for Disney.

I wonder if it's because they "officially" announce it on the season opening show? Last year my CM friend flew to NYC to "be friends with" Mickey on the show. Mickey's entrance coincided with the announcement that The Chew would tape in WDW and a lucky guest received a trip to WDW.

I signed up for tickets but I'm wait listed. Bummed

Don't feel bummed. From what I have seen everyone goes directly to the wait list. Someone else on this board whom I cannot recall also said that if I don't get tickets to show up to the show anyway because some people reserve tickets and then don't show up so they will be out looking for people to fill the seats so you may be able to get in that way if for some odd chance you do not get tickets.

I would love to see a taping of The Chew, at WDW.

I'm on a waitlist, too...fingers crossed. If anyone was able to get tickets and not be waitlisted can you let us know? Just curious if all tickets go through the waitlist.

Every entry is on the ‘waitlist’. They put everyone in a pool and then draw names. The ‘winners’ are emailed about a week or so before the taping saying that you were chosen for tickets.

So I'm on the waitlist for tickets for a taping of The Chew at the F&W Festival, what are my odds for getting a ticket? Should I make a hotel reservation?

Everyone seemed to go on the wait list last year. But the odds of you getting in depend on a bunch of things no one knows, audience size and number of requests
