:BTW: I quoted the wrong post Vanda I meant to quote the one where you said it's not possible to do everything in 14 days

Totally agree with this .... we've been too many times that I'd like to admit too and we've no way seen everything. Ok so we've "done" the Disney parks, except for the stuff introduced since we were last there of course, but we've not visited all of the resorts or eaten in all the restaurants. We've never done any of the things you can book with Robert Duvall (?) We've not been to Seaworld for AGES (hoping to rectify that next trip
), nor have we visited Universal or KSC for ages either.

My daughter hired a Skyracer (?) from Fort Wilderness last year and enjoyed it so much she went back this year. Its very quiet up there and the guy taking the money is really nice and extends your time and this year we used the voucher we had from booking via WDW and he gave it back to us incase she wanted to go again as it was a once only voucher. Also did a horse ride from FW, booked via concierge at the hotel which was fun. It is so far removed from the Disney bubble up there its like a different world. Would love to stay in a cabin but its so expensive for just two.

Try the parasailing at Sammy Duvalls if you get chance - its amazing
The Trail Ride at Fort Wilderness is a nice way to relax too as edinburghlass said.
I love exploring the other things Disney has to offer and other things in Florida![]()
See as has been previously said it's just not possible to do EVERYTHING in 14 days.
We've never even been to FW.... what a shocking thing to admit
or the Polynesian, Coronado Spring, Contemporary, SSR, OKW, any of the All Stars, AOA, POP, Caribbean Beach .... OMG
....... will just have to visit soooooo many more times to rectify this

Well there you go then, am going 1st two weeks of oct as I researched expected crowds plus rides are open during MNSSHP so can do some then. I have no doubt some people will continue to argue as to whether or not you can "do" Disney in 14 days or not but I don't care. At the end of the day, we'll hopefully have a good holiday and will tick it off as somewhere we've "done". The world's too big a place to go back time and time again. Sorry to all those who disagree with me but hey, you can't please all the people all the time!![]()
FW is great to explore especially around Halloween and Christmas as the "Campers" (some of those RVs are more luxerious than the GF) decorate their sites.

I disagree that a first timer can't do it all in 14 days!! We're going for 14 days and we're doing Disney parks minus Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, we're doing both Universal parks, we're doing MNSSHP, we're doing Discovery Cove with Dolphin Swim and Seaworld with Dine with Shamu, we're doing Medieval Knights at Kissimee, we're doing Legoland and we're doing an adventure day excursion through Thomson swimming with Manatees and visiting Homassa State Park!! And we've got 2 free days!!

That's our must do for next trip. DD has finally agreed that she will go with me so it's a done deal.I'm so excited. Have you tried it Tracy?
Another nice relaxing and fairly inexpensive activity is a carriage ride around the Port Orleans resorts. You pay for the carriage, not per person so for a party of 4 or if you are a couple and can find another couple to share with you (easily done) it's something nice and different for very little outlay![]()
My kids did the tandem parasail a couple of weeks ago on Bay Lake. 600 feet high for 12 minutes. It was their favourite part of the holiday. You will love it.
