Welcome to the Tuck's Medicated Pads Club Megan!:lmao: As a fellow hemmorhoid sufferer I can tell you the following:

Preparation H does work.

Tucks Medicated Pads do work.

They also make hemmorhoid cream that contains a numbing agent.:thumbsup2 Don't know the name because I always bought the generic version.

Talk to your doctors about taking stool softeners.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Dried fruit (apricots & prunes work wonders). Cherry's are also very good. You can add light sugar cherries to brownies!:thumbsup2

Im WAITING.

Its ALWAYS my fault.

:lmao:

 Why. Why Shawna. Why would you mess with my emotions. I have HEMORRHOIDS. And you mess with my EMOTIONS????

you know Shawna, it really is rude to offer up a cake and then say but not now...:confused3

With the risk of getting a migraine....

One of the most horrible side effects of chemo (other than nausea) is constipation. It gives you horrible constipation, which is not a good thing in someone that already has roids! At one time I was taking about 6 stool softeners and 3 laxative pills every day.:scared1: Of course this is probably more than you all want to know.

And then about a week after chemo, once you have the constipation under control, the roids are flaring up, then you get diarhea. So away go the laxatives and softeners & out comes the Imodium. Let me tell you it was not fun.

So ladies, let this be a not so gentle reminder to do a breast self exam tonight. Or better yet ask your DH to do it for you!:thumbsup2

Oh NO. Thats sounds horrid! I hate not pooping. I also hate having the runs.

It's a good thing I'm sitting here drinking French Vanilla Cafe coffee(sugar free, but tastes very sweet). Otherwise I have a feeling I would be sending DH down to Safeway for a giant chocolate cake.

So guess who came to visit again this month?? Aunt Flo! That's twice this month and only 2 weeks in between! I'm hoping that means I can just skip the next couple of months and have hot flashes instead. Of course this could explain why I was in such a funky mood a couple of weeks ago.:rotfl:

 I'm not good at this.

I keep meaning to ask you about water bottles. Obviously I live in the desert. 6 months of 100+ temps. We drink water by the gallons here per day. Well, I am always bringing water bottles in the car and then washing and refilling them. Well, lately I've been reading if they are left in the heat like a car that the bottle breaks down and is linked to breast cancer. Have you heard this? Scary because we bring the hot water bottles in every day and then do the same thing again.
