That reminds me of when we did a hospital tour when I was PG with DS4. We'd had DS8 at the same place, but they'd moved the maternity wing, so we wanted to check it out. As it turned out, they hadn't QUITE moved it yet, so it was the same-o.

But my point was (yes, I did have one) that I could hardly walk by then, so they got me a wheelchair to use during the tour. It was so much easier to get whisked around in a chair! :lmao:

I felt totally ridiculous, because I COULD walk, I'd just be slow and in a lot of pain after a short time. But whatever, it was a good thing.

OH GEEZ! Don't tell him that! :lmao:

They don't have a bench or something you can sit on? Usually there's at least one pregnant mom in a class like that. Do the parents participate, or are the kids flying solo?

If they don't have any place to sit, and you are not participating with her, then buy one of those folding chairs, and PARK YOUR BUTT during her class. I am serious!

:lmao: I wont. TRUST ME. He is crazy enough about me doing.... ANYTHING!

They have bleachers, but I couldnt see her! They have crap blocking the windows! Jerks! and YES. There are 2 other pregnant moms in the class.. You only have to participate if your kid is the one who doesnt listen. ;) NOT MINE!:cool1:

Gosh, I KNOW it! Oh... and dont mention that to my husband, or I would already BE in one. :lmao:

Frelan wants to take the kids to Great Wolf this fall. He is quite insistent on it actually. I am on a mission to look for a code, because DANG. It is spendy. We have been trying like crazy to think of something special to do with the kids before the babies come that wont be to spendy, and wont be to hard on me. I think this might be the best thing for a weekend getaway.

Ask Alison. She found a great rate over the summer, but I wound up not going. I forget how she found it, but I think it went through the fall, too!

I tried to find a code myself, but it was just 10% off, no great shakes.

I found one..The 10% But hey.. It helps. He asked me how much it would be.. I said cheaper then flying to Disneyland for the weekend. ;)

True... Plus I always like to appeal to DH's thrifty nature: "And we can make good use of those dollars we spend on swim classes!" :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Exactly! I think thats part of why he wants to go.. Both the kids are just tearing it up with swimming, and I think they would love this.

You know, last week DS4 and I walked to the school to pick up DS8. We passed a line-up of kindergarteners, and DS was the same size as those kids!

People who hadn't seen him over the summer kept telling me that he's grown a lot suddenly. Of course I hadn't noticed... well, until I tried putting him in too-short pants for preschool, that is. :rotfl:

Seriously, there was not one kindergartener bigger than him, and several were smaller. I was stunned!

Oh yeah! I know my two would love it, too! I was just looking at their website again. I am dying to do the lazy river, doesn't that sound relaxing? :)

I wish DH would take more time off. Even just the occasional Friday or Monday would be so fun to get a quick getaway in. {sigh}

:thumbsup2 Awesome!

DS8, however, is dismayed; he says he is one of the shortest in all of 3rd grade. I didn't think so, and pointed out one of his buddies who is quite a bit shorter than him. He snorted and said, "Well... yeah, he's shorter. But he's shorter than EVERYONE, Mama."

:rotfl:

So I paid attention the next time I saw him around the other kids. Darn, I think he IS shorter than they are! Not by a lot, but enough to be noticeable. Not surprising, since DH was extremely small and scrawny all during childhood, even in high school. He suddenly shot up and beefed up in college. (Yum!) :rotfl2:

I KNOW!! Thats what Frelan is doing.. Taking a Sunday night off so we can stay Friday through Monday.

I'm guessing you'll do this soonish, like in Oct.? That way you'll still feel good enough to have fun, too? Of course, even later than that, you'll probably feel good in water. MAN, that would feel good, wouldn't it? Get all that belly weight off your aching back! No wonder those water aerobic classes are popular with the waddlers! :rotfl2:

:lmao: Alex is very.... average. He is just right in the middle. Super skinny.. But height wise, right in the middle. Always has been... His dad is very tall. Taller then Frelan, so I expect Alex will also be very tall as he gets older. He will probably always be thin.. His dad is on the thinner side.

:lmao: Yeah.. I am thinking mid October or later.. Not Halloween, but maybe the weekend before. Not sure yet. I need a maternity swim suit!:lmao: Mine will NOT cover a belly. It MIGHT, but it wouldnt be pretty. :lmao:

I can hear DS4 upstairs making weird noises instead of napping. :lmao:
I have no idea what he's doing, why he's making those noises, but they're hilarious!

DANG IT! I just remembered I need to get that pot roast started in the crockpot... Oooo, and get DS ready to pick up his brother at the school! Uff, behind already! :rotfl:
