Yes. We have wanted DVC since we found out about it.. BUT.. it would make more sense to buy a house first, dont you think? :lmao: :lmao:

I HATE it when I burp after taking my prenatals. I just thought I would throw that out there.. ;)

Also.. I have been checking out hospitals and such. My doc delivers at 2 hospitals. one has a level 2 NICU, and the other has a level 3. I never thought that I would have to decide on a hospital based on what level NICU they have. The one that has the level 3 is also right next to the children's hospital. Cant go wrong there huh??

If you had DVC, couldn't you just live at Mickey's House??? :lmao:

I'd love it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I thought it sounded great, but I know NOTHING about timeshare kinds of things. My GF in the neighborhood bought into a timeshare co. years ago when she was single, so we talked a bit when we were at Ocean Shores. (They stay in a timeshare there.) It just so happens that when she met her DH he also had timeshare points, so they combined them and got into larger, nicer rooms, which was cool!

Even at Ocean Shores (and I have no idea what they pay), the facility was really nice, just a 2-br condo, and it's right on the beach, away from all the horse manure and everything right in town. Granted, they have to drive a mile or two if they want to go out to eat, but I could see just staying for DAYS right there at the condo. The beach was nice and quiet, the kids had a blast!

I would love to have a time share.. We have looked into one, Trendwest, and it wasnt such a bad deal at the time. But that was when were first dating... Not something we really wanted to get into then. But in Trendwest, you own FOREVER. Unlike Disney where it is only for 40 years or something.

I really prefer the condo/suite type of vacation then staying in a hotel room. I dont do well cramped up in one room with everyone for long periods of time. On our first trip to DL we stayed at the La Quinta, and had a suite room.. and it was great. The kids had their own room, and TV and such.

Then when we went to Leavenworth and stayed in the condo?? That was GREAT!! I LOVED that! Having a kitchen... fantastic! We have always wanted to stay at one of the DVC resorts when we go to WDW. Besides... Having a kitchen available to us would really help with the tummy troubles we tend to get after eating out a bunch. :rolleyes1

I delivered at Evergreen, which I think just got a Level 3 NICU... :)

My friend, who lives in Issaquah, had to go to University Hospital in the U-District when she had BP problems; apparently some of the best BP/maternity-related docs in the country happen to be there. She delivered at 31 weeks, and the baby (due to the BP issues) was tiny tiny tiny! But a spunky little thing, and you'd never know it today. She's tall for her age, super smart for her age, and just a well-rounded child. :goodvibes

You should visit both hospitals and see what you think. Is Tacoma General one of the ones you're talking about? My ex-SIL knows a gal in the maternity ward there. (At least she used to be there...)
