Once again, my Mother of the Year award is going up in smoke! DD and I watch the Girls Next Door together!:rotfl2: Actually, we watch it and then during the commercials we discuss it. It has actually been a very good way for me to bring up subjects that we wouldn't normally discuss...why it's not necessarily good to just live with someone vs. marriage...what society thinks of them...self esteem...etc... But I guess watching that show with your 16yo is a bit different than with an 8yo.

Don't tell me you're a Bonnie Bell Lipsmacker girl too?! Remember the GIGANTIC sticks of that? There I go dating myself again!:lmao:
Yeah, but YOU'RE the hoochie. ;)

Yes indeed, I had the Lipsmackers! But the BEST ones were the liquid ones in a tube with a roller ball. Lipsmackers did not give you the dripping look. :rotfl2:

The passes were DH idea...we had a DISCUSSION about vacation...he wants DW again...after we decided on something else...so we will just get passes and do a bunch of 3 or 4 day stays....fly free, half price rooms, get in park with pass...ok, sounds great to me...and besides...I GET MY WAY...SO I WIN.:rotfl:

They are having a special over the next few weeks for a room only thing...

Yeah, my sister was telling me! I'm just trying to put that out of my mind.

We just got done buying school clothes & DD's college textbooks, our 2nd half property taxes are due at the end of October, our car insurance is due at the first of October, homeowner's insurance is due at the first of November. Somehow I think they might have a hard time believing that I'm broke and need food stamps when I pull up at the welfare office in my new Mercedes, tanned from my recent WDW vacation.:rotfl2:

And I don't even want to think about what this stock market thing is doing to DH's 401K money! I'm too scared to even get on their website to look. I might be working until I'm 80!:scared1:

Oooooo, that would be SO COOL!!!

I'm going through withdrawals, too. Why does it seem like I haven't been to DL in soooo long when in fact it's been only a little over 4 months? :rotfl:

GEESH, it took me 44 years to get there the first time, now I can't stand being away 4 months??? WTH happened???

Addiction. the only cure is a return trip

Man! What is that like, having a DH who likes to vacation at DW just as much as you??? I'm amazed... and totally jealous! :lmao:

AHHHH,,,the liquid one...I remember putting some on when I went for my first date....my date had to stop and get gas on the way home...I just knew there would be a kiss...so I had to put it on...

we get out of the car...we walk ever so slowly to the door..holding hands and talking...hearts thumping..palms sweating.....we turn to each other...gaze in the other's eyes

AND I FELL

Oh yeah, cinnamon flavor was my favorite. Life was not complete without a pair of San Francisco Riding Gear jeans, a giant lipsmacker, at least 5 different kinds of roll on lip gloss aka scented vegetable oil, a pair of those new fangled Nike sneakers and a big comb with handle stuck in your back pocket!

Yeah, I got into a little hot water with DH when I booked the DL trip for Dec. He told me that if I were just going to make the reservation, use the Disney CC, but if I were going to pay for everything up front, use another CC. (I thought at the time it was a dumb thing to say, why the heck would I pay for it all up front? We have MONTHS to pay for it!!!) :confused3

So I get on the phone with the Disney booking folks to get the AP7 rate, right? She asks for a CC number to book, so I give her the Disney #. She winds up having to make 3 separate reservations, because the first night and the last few nights of our stay she can't get at the AP7 rate. OK, fine. Well, it turns out you have to pay for the FIRST NIGHT of your stay for your reservation; normally that would be only one night, but for me, it was one night on each reservation, or three nights. :headache:

I think I also put DS4's preschool tuition (for the year, we got a break if we pay it all up front) on the Disney CC, too, so suddenly there was a $7000 balance on the card. DH wanted to put the preschool thing on a line of credit, but you can't pay the Disney card with another form of credit, so we had to carry a balance on the Disney card, at whatever their astronomical rate is. GEESH, what a mess I made! :sad2:

I have to leave to take a delivery for Jeff. Talk to you all later today.

TTYL Shawna!

:cool1: :cool1: did you forget you can get condiment packs to make soup..geez

I'm the Cup O Noodles girl!:thumbsup2 Dinner for a week at WDW $1.50.:lmao: I know we wouldn't have to eat out, but what fun is it to go to WDW and eat a PB&J in your room in front of the tv. I can stay home and do that!:lmao:

I have to agree with DH; we can go to wdw for nothing....he just called and all we are going to pay is 219.00 for 3 days at port orleans....he said no to the Boardwalk...JERK...

and BIG HAIR BABY!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, the comb in the back pocket, I forgot!!! :rotfl2:

ETA: I couldn't have long hair, my hair was fine and dead-straight. So I went long. Looooong, I mean, down to my backside.

and BIG HAIR BABY!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that I single handedly kept the Aqua Net hairspray company in business for several years.

No Gina! A jerk is a DH that doesn't want to go to WDW & doesn't want you to go either! A good husband is one that takes you to WDW for a few days and pays for the moderate hotel. A sneaky, smarter than DH wife is one that surprises him by "upgrading" to a deluxe as a special surprise for "him"!:thumbsup2

Ladies, I need to get back to work this morning. So I'm off and will talk to ya all later.:) :) :)

oh, I forgot to tell....DH won a big gift at work for Bestbuy....so we are going to go on and replace the washer and dryer.....:cool1:

OMG! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's amazing we COULD kiss with all that lipgloss on. You'd think we'd just slide apart. :lmao:

I remember my first kiss. It was 6th or 7th grade, and with a boy I REALLY REALLY liked. He started to kiss me, and I was expecting closed mouth, and O M G!!! It was like getting slobbered on by a St. Bernard!!! :scared1:

I needed to go wash my face after that, YEESH! :scared: :rotfl:
