Give him a box of Total. One of the highest iron foods you can get. Well one of the highest iron foods that actually tastes halfway good.

I ate a lot of nuts when I was going thru chemo. Meat just tasted gross, so the doctor said to keep cans of nuts on the tables and just snack on them all day...they are not super high in protein like meat, but are still have a fair amount of protein. Pumpkin seeds are also fairly high in protein...you have plenty of pumpkins around, so that should be a problem!

that would be no. can't do that and no.. all are high in phosphorus.. his current demon.

His doc and the clinic nurse gave him a hard time today at his appt.. very high phosphurus count and too low of calcium. They were not pleased.
he has to worry about calcification of tissues.. you know the "hardening of arteries" that we are all warned about. And his bones could dissolve. No wet noodles for a husband thanks.



They were not happy with is Kt over V (meausre of how good of dialysis he is getting) , he agreed to six days a week to run to get more dialysis. Hopefully that works or he will run with more fluid.. meaning LONGER run times-- yuck!

Ok speaking of DVC did any of you ever see the treehouses back in the day? I mean stay in them? The lower level. The bed contraption.

I've heard of that but never knew people actually did that!

I'm scared to dust the top of my ceiling fans. It would probably throw them off balance or something.

can we bury it somewhere in the fine print of the contract....all dvc trips must include entire hyena group in order to be valid...failure to include said hyenas will result in forfeiture of that year's points to said hyenas.

You can use them at the DL hotels also can't you? Plus they have other resorts around the world you can use.

Did you see they are going to be opening the treehouses back up as DVC? I would LOVE to stay in them...although going past them at night in the boat from POR kind of gave me the willies. Sort of a Twilight Zone kind of thing...lights are on, furniture in them, but not a living person to be found!

the trick will be controlling him in the office...I AM THE ONE WHO has to be the bad guy with cars etc.....last time I got a car the sales guy and I got into it and he told me I had to work with him...HA...I told him I don't have to do squat...if you want to sell it this is what I will do...take it or leave it...he left it....and then called me when I got home....I told him I WOULD THINK ABOUT IT

I know. They were fun. We rented one with a bunch of friends once. Oh man that bottom bedroom looked like well, I cannot say what kind of chamber it looked like on the DIS but it seriously had this decoration hanging above the bed made of ropes and chains (maybe not chains) and we all walked in and BUSTED out laughing. That was NOT an innocent bedroom!
