The Fairies!!! Why in the world isn't there a character meal with just the fairies?

The highlight of our last trip was visiting the fairies. We stood in line for about 45-60 minutes (the ONLY line we condescended to stand in on our last trip) and it was worth every minute of the wait.

I just can't imagine that Disney wouldn't make a killing off of a fairies character meal. I'm not sure where they'd put it, but I'd almost bet it'd be booked solid.

Disney needs 1 or 2 "boy" or themed character meals. Pirates or Toy Toy Story (Woody and Buzz) would be great. You also will appeal to "girls" with Jessie and the female lead in the pirate movies who's name escapes me right now.

Being a fairy fan, myself, and having a grandaughter who is also into Tink and the faries,I agree with you totally!!! They need a Tink/fairy themed meal....Although my absolute favorite character is Mary Poppins

Having a couple of grandsons, I would also have to agree that they need some boy themed meals: Pirates would be good and Star Wars would be great for boys AND adults, for sure!!!!!!! AND HS needs more decent lunch/dinner offerings, anyway.

Okay...have to agree. A boy-themed meal is wayyyyyyyyyy overdue! Toy Story or Pirates would be great, but my vote goes for Star Wars. They could roll it out on a test basis only for a SWW and see how it goes. I bet the response would be overwhelming.

I would combine the ideas and call it "The Adventurer's Character Meal" where Jack Sparrow, Luke Skywalker, Hans Solo, Darth Vader, Tron characters, Indiana Jones and a few others would hold court. Add in Elizabeth Swann, (I'd pay to see her) and Princess Leia and you'd have all bases covered.

They're missing out on a few that would be regularly booked solid, I think. Toy Story/Pixar characters (which would fit perfectly at Hollywood & Vine for lunch/dinner, leaving the Playhouse Disney meal at breakfast).

But when was the last time Disney added a character meal? It doesn't seem to be something they're interested in even though the existing character meal prices are through the roof and remain very difficult ADRs to get.

I agree with the others who said they need more for boys! They've got the preschool kids, girls and 'classic' characters covered. But something like Toy Story, Star Wars, villians, now one of those would be pretty awesome

Candace and Isabella could cover the girl end.

I think Phineas and Ferb would be a great character meal! I know I would even enjoy 'meeting' them, along with my kids
