Ugh, I can't believe Joan won. Did she bring any money in during the entire show?

No she didn't bring in any money--yes she won money for her charity but she didn't bring it in.

Trump chosing Joan wasn't because she had 3 and Annie had 2. Trump's former sister in low Blaine Trump is on the Board of Directors of Joan River's Charity. God's love we Deliver. So I doubt regardless of how it ended up this years was left to the 5 parts so that Trump had the ability to chose who he wanted based on whose charity it was and to me at least Joan would have won regardless and was predetermined.

Question: With all the other challenges, the winning team's PM's charity got ALL the money raised if in fact money was raised. Over $600,000 was raised in this challenge. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REST OF THE MONEY?

I think each person kept the money they raised for themselves then got an additional $250,000 if they won CA.

About Trace--yeah like noone heard of him before he did CA--Same with Piers,Trump made it sound like he got a tv show out of being on CA

Joan has been in the entertainment industry for gazillion years and is better known to the public in general than Annie. I had never heard of Annie, since I don't follow the poker "circles". Joan should have been able to raise more money hands down, yet Annie raised 4x more. Just because Annie can call up friends and ask to support a cause, only confirms to me how important this charity is to her and how much she wants to help them.

Didn't you hear...Joan knows the same people as Trump and because they gave all their money to him they had none left for Joan--Or they have no desire to help charity or they're just tightwads. Not sure which excuse Joan ended up going with.

Except to me, her main motivation was not the charity, it was winning. I assume everyone was there with the hopes of winning, but I felt Annie called on her "friends" to help HER, not necesarrily the charity. Joan seemed very involved in her charity. Annie probably just picked one because she had to for the show.

By her winning,her charity won. It's always been that way on CA. Well until this one anyways.

Annie has apparently worked for her charity for years (with Don Cheadle) and hosts annual tournaments benefitting it.

The designer who quit was on Barbara Walters' radio show this morning and said that his rules as laid out by the show were that he could not provide ANY suggestions whatsoever -- it all had to come from the contestant. Annie had plenty of ideas. Joan did not.

"Joan and Melissa [Rivers] were completely incapable of giving me their insight on how the party should look. They had zero direction.... In 23 years of being in business, I have never left anyone, no matter how difficult they are to work with. Her behavior towards any human being was so unacceptable to me. [She's] such a monster I cannot begin to even explain."

Funny--I was saying thst to DH when we were watching,that Joan couldn't tell him what she wanted the room to look like.

David has worked with brides--I'm sure he has had his fill of witchy women and knows how to handle them--Really makes you realize that Joan is that way to everyone.

Annie was trying to say something along these lines but Joan interuppted her and lashed out at her as if she lied about abouteverything, While Trump didn't give Annie a chance to talk yet let Joan rant and rave.

It was all fixed to have Joan or Melissa win.

Joan kept calling Annie a liar when all Annie was trying to do was explain what she was told was the reason for the decorator quitting--Nice to see that even though Trump couldn't man up that the decorator confirmed Annies version.

And yes it was fixed. I want all the time back I wasted watching the Joan and Melissa Rivers show.

I agree with kaytieeldr. Also, if she didn't say it in the boardroom, and to Trump, it's not quitting.

Rick, you must work in a very calm, tame environment. I've had co-workers get so frustrated or pop a cork on the job or afterwards and swear they were quitting, or were going tell off the boss and tell him where to shove it, etc.
Then, when the boss actually walks in the room, of course they don't say that.
It was after hours, and Joan was on another floor in their "lounge" or whatever. .

Joan was on camera, and she knew it..she wasn't in the employees lounge. She was right outside the boardroom. Her 'boss' cold hear her and commented on it. It wasn't after hours..go back and look at your tivo.
Is there really anyone here, who doesn't believe this was orchestrated by Trump to turn out just like it did? He would have fired her sorry butt a long time before the end, if she had been anyone else.
I can find no excuse, if it be that Hitler acted sweet but wasn't or whtever she said the second time she mentioned it..that there should ever have been a comparison. Compare her to the fox in Little Red Riding Hood, but no one, in any shape or form should ever be compared to Hitler. Nice people just don't do that. We're not talking about a guy that killed 'just' 1000 people. We are talking about a guy that killed in torturious ways, complete families, children, and did it with every intent to wipe out an entire race. Nope, no matter how she said it (and you have no idea what she meant..only she did) it was about the worse thing I have heard a reality contestant say...and she repeated it more than once. That was prob the only time her daughter looked embarrassed and said she couldn't control her mother. Again, she had no class. Nothing Annie said can compare. Just ask any adult who has no family left because of this man, if you know anyone. I do. There were other's that should have won on that show..that Trump had to get rid of early, so there would be no competition for Joan.

Besides we just saved you 3 hours of wasted time.

It's not up to you to save anyone wasted time, nor is anyone asking "America" to wait for anyone to catch up to break news. It's just common courtesy (or should be) to leave the results of a game/show/contest out of the title of the topic on a discussion board. There's no avoiding it in the title. If anyone wants to find out the breaking news, they can open the thread; no one is asking that it just not be discussed at all until they're ready to read it. Is this concept really that difficult to understand and follow through? No one is missing out on anything if the results aren't in the topic. But some people will get the results before they've had a chance to catch up. Not everyone has tons of time on their hand to always immediately watch their TIVO'd shows. I just don't get what's accomplished by putting the final info in the title.

OMG! I am just watching the show now and it's at the end and I can't agree more! Joan looks like she has a Jean Harlow hair-do and Melissa looks like Cher .

Seeing as that the finale was 2 days ago and has been the topic of discussion on news programs,daytime television and many websites you'd have to be living under a rock to not now what the outcome of the show was.

Had the winner been posted to the thread title immediately after the show then yeah I could see your point but after 2 days there's nothing wrong with it

I agree. I really don't think the winner should be in the title. This isn't breaking news, like a tornado or hurricane would be. It doesn't impact people's lives, there is no warning to get out of your home because of danger, and I can't see ruining the surprise for those who haven't had time to watch the show. It can be avoided, if you avoid places you would expect to see it. I wouldn't have expected to see it in this title. I'm sorry for those of you that had the surprise ruined I would never have thought the title would have had the winner, and I would have avoided looking at the thread until after I watched the show, so I understand why it's upsetting to you.
