Man i was hoping this thread would inspire me and nothing.

Nope I wasn't sent her by anyone. Usually when I look at people's layouts I get some sorta inspiration to scrapbook my stuff cause everyone has great ideas.

Oh my gosh please tell me I am not reading this thread correctly. Please tell me KimAston you are just in a huge slump and thought maybe if you looked at other peoples work it would get you motivated and not that your comment meant to come across as rude as it did. This is a great thread. I love to look at everyone's layouts. Some are amazing, some are nice and some are ok but all of it is great because it is people's work they are proud of what they created and it suits their needs. I really like the layouts on here. I love to see how people combine their pictures and paper. How they add picture to a page. Surely you are not implying the work is bad. That is just plan rude! And if you are lets see some of your fab pages...maybe you can motivate us....but then again it is easier to be rude.....

Nope not at all. Everyone's work is amazing and I am just in a slump. Sorry if I worded my post the way I did. I am seriously sorry.

I recently discovered my "inspiration" - I challenged myself to get one event scrapped by a certain time and it worked! I cranked out like 30 pages. I was in shock, because I was completely in a rut working on my Disney pages. It was around August so I told myself that I wanted to scrap DD's 1st grade before she started 2nd grade. I wasn't completely finished by the time school started, but I was 3/4 done. Since then I have given myself more such challenges and I find it is nice to have a goal. I am so overwhelmed with all I have waiting to be scrapped. So if I take it in small bits it has helped me greatly! I hope you find your inspiration!

I just did this last week - thus the new pages I posted LOL Seeing all my stuff moved around and out of hiding helps me find ways to use it. But I am also inspired by seeing other people's work. I will often jot down a sketch if I see a LO here or on 2peas or elsewhere and tuck it in my BH sketch book.

Isn't it interesting the way we can all read the same thing and perceive it differently? I totally thought you were just in a slump and that even looking at all the layouts in the world wasn't going to help any.

Hope you come up out of your slump creating wonderful pages for you albums!

Thanks so much for your comments. On the left side of our Halloween costumes, I put down the words to the Haunted Mansion ride. It just didn't photograph very well with the metallic paper.
