Here's a few more...I've been on a roll these last couple of days. Too bad I can't say I'm catching up....these are pages from our 2001 trip. I just started a Disney album.
I'm new to scrapping and I have been admiring everybody's handywork - your stuff is so great and I just hope I'm able to produce something half as good.
Michele, I would love to know, though, how you did the border on the first LO here - it's really effective
I'm not Michele, but it looks like she used a 12x12 sheet of the paper with the character's autographs, then layered a sheet of red cardstock/paper on top that she used decrotive scissors on to make the zig-zag pattern. Overall its a pretty cool effect.
Actually, it was even easier, Yzerbear19. I bought the red cardstock with that zigzag pattern already cut on the edges. Then put it on top of a 12 x 12 with the character signatures.

Another great thing about that edged cardstock is I was able to cut out the center portion of the autographed paper that was hidden behind the red cardstock. Now I can use that autographed paper on other pagess too and not waste a whole sheet of it hidden in the back. Make sense?

I like your idea of using the solid cardstock over the sig paper. I have several sheets from our Mexico DCL cruise. It has "Castaway Cay" all over it, but we didn't go to Castaway Cay (wrong coast!) so I didn't know what to do with it. You have come up with a great solution.
Ppiglet...I love it. I'm trying to finish up my WDW trip from this year. Of course I don't work in 12 X 12 like most of you. I cheat and use a photo album and fill in the 4 X 6 holes. If you finished DCL 05..then I have some time to finish mine. I'm having a hard time finding different papers. Maybe I just have to let the companies come out with more papers.
