I can't stand staying home with nothing to do - so yea, this keeps my sanity
I did go to a parade today (we were in the parade so that helps)
My Grandpa's 90th birthday & his town was having a rodeo parade so most of the kids, grands, & great-grands were in it. It was fun.

Are you from a small town in Texas? I love hometown parades where everyone is in it. Ive only been to a couple but they were fun. We have family in Texas.
Again, your work is amazing and I enjoy being envious and always look for your next pieces!

I'm about an hour away from Ft Worth - the parade yesterday was close to the center of Texas (Mason, TX) -- craft fair on the court house yawn -- it was great to see how many people showed up

It took me a couple of minutes to find the hidden Mickeys - I didn't think about having them in pages (not sure if I got pictures of them from the last trip)

We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. It was really a great resort for the two us. We were farther from the pool area but close to dining and buses.

I did this up for a swap - thought it turned up cute like this

I had someone ask me about this

On the title page the Mickey ear Flags are 2.5 inches - each country got it's own about 5 (can't remember if it was 5 or 5.5)

I cut out a base color for each - looking at Canada it is white, then cut out an extra red then cut the red into thirds discarded the middle glue onto the white with a red leave (Mexcio got a yellow bird - the crow from Paper doll dress up cart) This was done without SCAL so I don't have it set up for that, I used the Mickey Cart for the head -- so it is cut & paste

I got this from the cricut message board from someone who scraplifted from someone else (I think there was a couple of other scraplifted before that)

Cassey--I was wondering if that was newly remodeled POFQ. I love POFQ (have stayed there twice). DH has only stayed at value resorts and I'm trying to justify AKL for 1 night

I am going to have to use these cuts for some of my sister's dance pictures. She did an Indian Inspired dance and love Rafiki as a kid! These are perfect!

It's called Wrexham Script. I love cursive fonts and have alot of them in a file that I use with SCAL.

I haven't posted much here but I am subscribed so I can see everyone's cool layouts!

I've had my Cricut for a few years, but don't use it a ton. I use it mostly for titles, but am tired of my fonts and really don't like any of the other cartridges. I'm thinking SCAL is the way to go. Can anyone fill me in a little about how complicated it is or where to buy it?

well, you can thank for sueing SCAL so the new version that is sold doesn't work with the cricut. You need either SCAL1 or SCAL2 & good luck on finding them (now if you have another cutter - they may work with it)

unless you luck out & find an older SCAL
SCAL2 stop selling last month
