The Castle Suite

We were fortunate enough to win the night in the castle. And i did ask the CM's what would happen to the suite after the YOAMD. They said there were already talks of it being used for the Make-A-Wish foundation! I think that is great. And also they would likely charge over a $100,000 to stay in the suite if it were released to the general public. BC the castle cm's said that they have had several celebrities call and offer $100,000 per night. So none of us normal folk will ever be able to afford the suite! The only reason they list it as worth $500 is so the winner wont have to pay taxes on it.

I spoke to a CM while we were down there for our wedding and she said Disney will probably never rent it. She said disney has already had many, many requests of people willing to pay upwards of $10,000 per night.

If they did rent it I can assure you it would be at least 5 times the price of the most expensive room at WDW, and there wont be any seasons either, same price all the time, except holidays where it would probably be double. I have to imagine that if it were to rent it would be around $5000-$7500 per night.

I can't see Disney renting it out nor letting Make a Wish kids stay there. There would be far too many requests for it to make every kids wish to come true. I guess that means not all dreams can come true at WDW.

Can you imagine the waiting list to get into that suite? I like what the PP said about using it for a charity for children, that is a great idea.

You know, Liz, this is one of my favorite day dreams. While I'd prefer to win one, I'd pay quite a bit to sleep in there. Even more, I'd like to wake up there. I always wonder if I'd actually be able to fall asleep. It would totally suck to get a night in there and then not sleep and wake up.

I don't see them opening it up to the general public. But I'm sure Bill Gates could get a night in there if he wanted one.

For $10,000 a night, there better be a handsome prince sitting on the bed when I walk in the room! :goodvibes Although I'd like to see the inside of the suite, I really don't have a desire to stay there. It is just another hotel room and it's not like you get to wander around at night. Besides, I've been in the MK after the park closes. They turn on all the lights and bring in big tractor like things to do maintenance. They turn off the music. It's just weird!

I'd stay for a night just to experience it. I imagine it would be between 1000-2000 a night, I couldn't do it for a whole week, but I could swing it for 1 night.
