You may see slight changes to the castle by then. But look at the castle's projected end look. It isn't dramatic like the cake was. The castle will not be blocked. Areas may be walled off so that you cannot walk in certain areas, but you should be able to see the castle fine at all times, but with slow changes as they happen.
From what I have seen on other posts, the castle has a wall set up around the front of Main Street and they are digging up the walkways behind the wall...Supposedly, they are preparing the viewing area for the new "Cinderellabration" show that will be taking place in front of the castle starting in May as well as for other reasons most likely. Also, should you want to take photos, I have also read you will have better luck getting the castle from a distance, so as to not be right up against the wall. One more thing...the statue of Walt and Mickey is unfortunately behind the temporary wall and is encased in a box-like structure to protect it during construction, I guess...Look around on the board or run a search and you can likely find the post I viewed including pictures of the ongoing work around the castle.
Here's a picture of the work being done. You'll see the big green box in the area being worked on. This is where the Mickey and Walt Disney statue is being protected.
