The Case of the Missing Dragon

Poor dragon...it did look really cool in show when I saw in a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully, they'll be able to fix it and get it back into the show!

With ROA drained and Tom Sawyers Island closed for months this past Winter/Spring, I'm surprised it is down already! That would have been an ideal time to do maintenance/overhaul of the dragon. I'm sure heads be rollin! :rolleyes1

The dragon has been a problem for a long time and is there only about 3 out of 7 nights a week from what I have seen. From what I understand, a lot of the problems are due to damage (Mickey Lift, World of Color Projection Domes, etc.) from the last earthquake we had (which was after the river rehab, so not much could have been done then).

On the news last night here (SoCal), they said the Dragon had been removed Indefinitely:sad2:... I don't really think it will be back anytime soon it has caused way too many problems...

My family and I were at DL last September (already a year has gone by now? :confused3 ), and we saw F! for the first time. Apparently, according to a DL vet standing next to us as the light pole (thanks for that tip everyone), the night we saw it was the first night it ever breathed fire. We saw it the second night too and it worked perfectly then as well. Good timing and great luck for my family. Now we can at least say we saw it before it had serious issues.
