The Carpenter/McAllister first family trip!!

My first trip was when i was 4 yrs old and we left my 1 yr old sister home with the grandparents.NOw i cant remember any of that trip but i know i made a friend on the plane lol.Jump ahead to now to July 09.After like 14 trips to my happy place we were on our way there again...

We are driving from Wilmington DE to Disney
My last trip was in 04 with a friend as their tour guide and Kyle was 18 months and i was 12 weeks along with Kiersten.Hubbys last trip was our honeymoon there and my parents last trip was a day trip with me to AK in 01 i think when we were in FLorida for my cousins space launch.So of course we were all ready to go ok ok i was so ready to head back lol....
Dad found us a house to rent that was like 5 mins away from the parks and rihgt off of I92 and it wasnt far from where i stayed with my friend in a rental house on our last trip..
The plan was to drive down on the 18th stay over nite and get there in the afternoon on sun the 19th.We couldnt get into the house till 4 on Sun.


We get up Sat the 18th pack the van and head to my parents to get them and we are like 5 mins from the house and hubby says do u have the juice boxes for the kids? Crap no so we turn around and head home to get them and the ice packs for the cooler and start out again. Make it to my parents they load up thier stuff and head out.We make it to the rest stop on 95 still DE so daughter can use the bathroom and my mom is like wheres the one bag with everything in it? So dad finds the bag in the sto-n-go in the floor of the van and we finally head back on the road and we havent even left our state lol.We only stop for gas and bathroom breaks while mom makes us lunch in the van from the cooler thats stocked with lunch meat and things..We decide to stop in Florence SC for the nite and unload and let the kids swim for a bit in the green pool!THankfully we werent the only ones in the green colored pool lol.Shower and head to Wendys for dinner.Off to bed to be on the road again till we hit the house.
Sunday the 19th we head out around 9 again after getting our free breakfast from the hotel and only stop once again for gas and bathroom breaks.Make Florida by lunch and stop at the welcome center for lunch and some pics under the Florida sign..

We get to our rental by 4 and we get the key and head into our home for the week..Kids head into the pool and with my dad and hubby while mom and me unpack the bags..

So after the kids got done in the pool we headed to Pizza Hut for dinner and then off to DTD to walk around.It was down pouring and thankfully i had the ponchos in the van still. POnchos on we walked all around and headed to the World of Disney to look around.The kids got thier ears and some little things while we continued to look around the other stores. It finally stoped raining long enough to get some pics by the Xmas store.We still needed to pick up some food for the week so off to super target we went..Unloaded and put the kids to bed..
Woke up early to head to AK in the rain lol and try things out.First was EE and get that done.It was me,mom and hubby that did this while dad stayed with the kids.Mom was like there better be some older people on here her age and i found i guy that was older then her in line ahead of us lol.It was good and i think my eyes were closed most of the time u go backwards in the dark.I didnt even see the Yeti lol. The pic wasnt bad but i want going to pay 20 bucks for the thing!Then off to Dinoland we went and rode those rides. Mde hubby do the twirl a whirl which he doesnt like that much.O well he got over it lol.Then we headed over to do dinosaur and i waited by the exit with my daughter since she was to short and while they all rode we watched the pics pop up.Son didnt want to ride again so hubby went with me and we did the ride.Next stop was lunch and it finally stoped raining while we ate lunch by the river and then headed over to the safari ride.B4 lunch we saw Pooh and friends and got pics.Kids loved the safari ride and we did everything but the shows in the park.Still havent seen the new Nemo show yet but theres next time right?Saw MIckey and gang,the parade,Pluto,Flick,Lilo,Stitch,and a few others while in AK.Headed out after the parade to go back swimming and have some dinner.
after dinner we headed over to MK and did all of Tomorrowland and got some ice cream and waited for the fireworks to start.Watched them behind the castle in front of Ariels grotto and then headed over to see the parade.GOt the kids a couple light up toys and dad finally found us a place on main street and moving us like 3 times lol.Then we headed back to the monorail and back to the car and home to sleep till the morning where we head back to MK.

Yea! Pictures! What a cutie patootie family you guys are! Looking forward to reading all about your Disney adventures. We're headed back to Disney in less than a week!

We wake up early and head to the MK once again to walk through the castle so my DD can see what it looks like.My parents head the other way while we head to toontown to see the princesses and get pics.We found out the day b4 in AK from the cast member that was with Minnie that usually is over in toontown that the best time to see the girls r as soon as toontown opens.So right at 10 we head over there to see them and get pics and autographs.Waited like 15 mins or so to see them.

After that i wanted to try Goofys rollercoaster but the kids were having no part of that lol.I wasnt gonna ride it alone i tell ya.We walked through the houses and got some more pics

We did the racecars and headed to Cosmic Rays to have our packed lunch and meet up with my parents.Did pooh,snow white and decided to head over to the haunted mansion. The kids started crying in the first room where its all dark and i had to tell them it wasnt scarey and it would b ok.We get to the buggys and am tellin them its a big black jellybean lol nice i know but it worked!After that they were ok and didnt say anything..By then we decided to head out and go back to the house and swim b4 dinner.Had dinner at Red Lobster and thoughtr we would start HS that nite.Did the great movie ride,muppets and then walk around some and dad wants to do the backlot tour but its closed already.Walk over to see the little mermaid and had to tell the kids it was a fun show cause they kinda freaked some during a bugs life the day b4.After that we headed over to the Tower.The time posted said 45 mins but i think we waited like 20 mins for it.I was right up against the grate and I was holding on tight and onto dad who was next to me and mom was on the other side of him..Little story my sis and bro in law went in April and while on this ride bro in law digs his nails into the guy next time while riding it lol.He later told the guy afterwards sorry man for palnting my nails into ur leg like i was cat lmao.. that was to funny!! Anyway the pic was fuuny and its ashame that all the ride photos arent on the photopass card! The 3 of us were holding onto each other, hubby was surprised we got done so fast while he waited with the kids. Then it was time to line up for the second show of Fantasmic.Dad was like am fighting the crowd to park the umbrella stroller and was like fold it up and we will take it in with us..Rule breaker lol. The cast member was like am pretending i dont see it and make sure its tucked under the seat so no one else sees it. Thanks! Heres some pics from HS

After the show we made our way out with everyone else to head home till the next day where we finish up HS.
