Day 4 - IF&WF
Day 5 - YEAH BABY IT'S 5'o'clock
Day 6 - OMG my head
Day 7 - Home we go...
Well out time at RPR has come to and end. 2 days really did just whizz by, but I am very happy we came here as I luv de Margarita!!
We are packed and away by a little before 9am and head straight to SSR to check in. A lot of people are milling around in the area, but we are seen by a CM pretty quickly. Unusually for a Disney CM she doesn't have much to say for herself, but still pleasant. We are all checked in around 10mins later, although our room's not yet ready - no real surprise as it is only 9.30!
We are planning a trip to the Premium Outlet Mall, then onto Edwin Watts
then Corona Cigar Shop finishing at Seasons 52 for lunch.
Arriving at Premium Outlets before 10am is good as the car park is dead! They've just opened another 40 stores here (or was it 50??), and from the names it seems to me that they have added some of the stores which are at Prime but not Premium.
We have a wander around the shops and look in a few, Deb gets a couple of tops in Lucky and I get a pair of shoes come trainers in Timberland. By the time we come to leave at around 11.30 the car park is a LOT busier and just shows how quickly it fills up.
We make the short drive up to Edwin Watts and notice a new golf superstore on Turkey Lake road called Golf Galaxy (we subsequently find out it is opening on Friday 14th). We spend 30/45mins or so looking around Edwin Watts, Deb tries some clothes one, but isn't convinced so doesn't get them. There is a lot of nice stuff here, but we both manage to resist the temptation to buy anything - I do notice that the combination of the exchange rate and cheaper golf products at home are making things less of a bargain - for example the balls I usually play are £27 at home and are $40 here - not much difference at all once you've added sales tax.
So anyway after spending some time whistfully looking at golf gear it is off to Corona for some cigars. I've a few that I am want to get, but sadly they've stopped stocking them, so end up with 24 La Gloria Cubana Serie R - supposedly very good.
After cigar shopping off to Seasons 52. We've only ever eaten here once before and really enjoyed it, so wanted to try it again. We sit at the, very quiet, bar and sample a beer (for me) and glass of Chardonnay for Deb and decide upon (and order) food - what I've no idea. But I do know that it was very nice and a little different to the stuff you find other places - a fresher sort of taste, which is what I think they aim for.
After lunch we decide it's time to head back and see if our room is sorted, which it is and they've also matched all of our requirements - I gave them the area (Grandstand), a non-first floor room and the ending of the room numbers - to ensure we got an "end" room.
The room is very nice as usual and as it is a 1 bed, much more spacious than the others thus far with a view over the 10th fairway. A perfect place to spend a week.
We get some washing and drying done and I have a quick beer whilst Deb samples the whirlpool bath and then we are off to DTD.
We thought about trying T-Rex, but it is packed so decide on Raglan Road. We order a few starters, which are more my sort of thing than Deb's I think, and after 3 attempts to get the onion rings hot, Deb asks for them to be taken off the bill, which they do. Drinks wise, Deb has a couple of glasses of wine and I have a Murphy's Red, Guinness and Yuengling.
After paying we wander back through PI and have a squizz at the Adventurers Club (damn you Disney!!)
we stop off at Bongo's for a cocktail - mojito for Deb and bourbon on the rocks for me.
A quick look around Virgin and we are ready for bed so stroll back to the room where I have a beer whilst watching some TV, before giving into the sleep God - goodnight!
