The Story so far...
Day 0 - All the Fives
Day1 - the day after the night before
Day 2 - Dry times ahead...
Day 3 - Drink Story Mania
IF&WF
Is there more to be said about today's activities? If not, it will be my shortest day by a long chalk!
We've just got back to SSR from Universal, hence the gap in my posting, and also the huge gap in my memory, so there will be little to say other than some vague times, what we drank and a few piccies - my apologies. Those looking for an accurate rendition of our trip will need to wait for Deb's report once we are back!!
We're awake pretty early (around 5.30 I think), so I decide to have a wander down to the Boardwalk to take a few piccies as the sun rises. Sadly though the lights on the restaurants are not on, which makes the photo's a little less good
I spend an hour or so watching the place come to life, interrupted only by people jogging - what is it with people jogging on holiday - don't they know they're on holiday, can they not have a holiday from jogging too? Having sad that I drink on holiday and at home so I guess by the same token I should have a holiday from drinking? - Nah, never gonna happen
Some shots from the early morning activity...
...Amen to that Brother!
I return chez Churchill and we prepare to head off to EPCOT, we take our time and find ourselves sat waiting for the champagne stand to open at around 10.30, it is stall no.1 so seems the best place to start to us.
We then wend our way around the lagoon, sampling various items. Luckily I get a record of what we drank, so here it is...
Reims, Champagne...
Me - Nectar Imperial Rose;
Deb - Nectar Imperial;
Shanghai, China...
Shared a Mango Gingerita;
New Delhi, India...
Me - Kingfisher;
Hops and Barley...
Me - 13th Annual Festival Lager, Sam Adams;
San Francisco...
Deb - Rosenblum Cellars Kathy's Cuvee Viognier;
Tokyo...
Me - Kirin Ichiban
Shared - Hana Raspbery Sake;
Louisiana...
Shared - Abita Purple Haze beer;
And not forgetting the obligatory Spaceship Earth shot...
We get to the UK somewhat pooped out after all the walking, so sit and have a rest in front of the bandstand - sadly no show for British Invasion today, but a good place to stop for a Guinness and glass of wine nonetheless.
The wander on to Canada and decide to have a squizz at O Canada, which I think is quite good, and I even manage to not fall over.
After this we are both quite bushed so a wander back to BWV is on the cards, stopping for a few moments to listen to Off Kilter.
Despite planning to go out again in the evening we decide to stay in, so a low drinks count, with just a Bourbon to go from the Belle Vue for me.
Tomorrow, Universal here we come...
