Guess what swappers...
Temary informs me the stroller is paid for! So from here on out, no more payments. It would be great if you wish to bring something instead of payment for use on the stroller, such as Clorox Wipes or a fan, or something like that!
Also, concerning the end of the swap...
So far, we have no one sign up lately past late January, though I have had someone interested in March and May of 09. However, I am not will ing to facilitate past bunkkinsmom, our last swapper as of now. If someone is willing to step up as leader of the swap, it can continue as a free swap. Otherwise, we can reseach a good charity that can benifit from a great stroller.

I am more than willing to help facilitate the donation of the stroller! Ya'll just let me know what charity you want to donate to, and I will research and get it taken care of!

Pretty much, we as a group own the stroller. Temary collected the money and puchased it, then it just gets passed to the next user. The best case scenario is to do a hand off. In the event that the resort does have to store it, it is treated like baggage or packages that are shipped before the arrival of the guest, and it goes into the luggage storage area.

I have a friend that would like to use the stroller, but they won't need it until May 27 - June 6. If it is decided that we should try to keep the stroller swap going I am willing to help out, or take over the arranging of the information as long as my friend can reserve those dates and we can get the dates in the middle filled in pretty well. I would love to see many more families benefit from the opportunity to stroller swap. Let me know what everyone thinks!

Quick update: I got the stroller from the luggage service ASMo when I arrived. It works great! Orange color is easier for spotting it in the sea of strollers too! Thank you everyone putting together the swap. The weather was great the first few days, but it's starting to rain off-and-on most day today. Luckily, Spectro and Wishes still on last night though! I don't plan to subscribe to internet for the rest of my stay, so just a quick update!

I second that wish for you to have a great trip iheartdisney. I too will answer newbie questions if I see them. Enjoy. It looks like Hannah will be trying to avoid the coast...I will cross my fingers that it stays that way.

Our trip is in partial turmoil right now. DH is having problems and may have a partially ruptured achillies tendon. I may be needing to find a scooter for him for our trip (if he can even make it)!!!

I'm sure hoping iheartdisney is having a fantastic time and getting great use out of our stroller! I've been reading that some of the swaps are having difficulties with the resorts not wanting to keep things (fridges etc) and give receipts. Hopefully we won't have problems with our stroller. If anyone is having problems with it be sure to post here and keep us all updated. Hopefully it is just rumors!

I've been reading those things too. It's actually happening to people here, so I don't think it's just rumors. I hope that Disney doesn't just completely eliminate our swaps though! It would be best if we could do the exchange face to face to keep it out of luggage services, but that's just not possible all the time!

We're going to be staying at POP December 15-20 and would love to take part in this swap! Please let me know if these dates are still available and how to take part. I've never done this before but am excited! I can't wait to see the Magic Kingdom for the first time! My DH & DS have never been before either. Thanks!

skhermsmeyer: iheartdisney is the "controller" of this swap for now. She is currently in WDW and will return within a couple of days. It looks to me like the dates you need (Dec 15-20) are open and you are certainly welcome to join in. When iheartdisney returns she will e-mail the info to you. The stroller has been paid for, so it will not cost you anything to use it. We are asking that you contribute something (clorox wipes, something that will help others with the stroller, etc). The base for the swap is at the ASMo resort. You will be able to contact the person before your swap and after your swap to make pass off arrangements or you will be picking it up and dropping it off at the ASMo resort luggage services. This is just preliminary info for you. Welcome and iheartdisney will contact you in the next few days after she has had time to return home and recover.
