The caboose swap closed

Whoo-hoo! Thanks for letting me know so quickly! I'm so glad this is one less thing we have to haul down with us. :)

Are you home iheartdisney???? Looking forward to an update on your trip and how the stroller worked out for you! Hope all was FANTASTIC!

OK, we just got back a few hours ago, so this is short...I'll post pics later. I REALLY want to buy one of these now for the zoo and everywhere else! What a great stroller!
WDW is so fun, but so EXHAUSTING! Even with an entire week!
We only had two rainy days, but the rain cover was so worth it! make sure to keep it just in case- there is plenty of room in the basket to toss it in there and forget about it.
The stroller fits in the bag- no problems, and lots of room to spare.
What a great trip! i hated to come home! And i wish the same for everyone else!

Glad you are home and have a safe and fun trip!!! Isn't it so sad to have to come home! I'm glad the stroller worked out great, I was looking forward to your report!

iheartdisney-Has the person above me, disvirgin, confirmed? I noticed that she doesn't have stars around her name and I've been sending her PM's and am not getting any kind of response. How long will it be before you delete her from the list and allow someone who is actually going to participate to fill that gap?

Hoping iheartdisney had a wonderful trip. I'll bring some clorox wipes and a few bottles of water for the next family. We're also bringing a spray fan thing, so if it's needed, I'll leave that with the stroller as well. :) It should come in handy later on in the swap. I can't wait for WDW! :thumbsup2

Thanks for asking. The stars by the name was my way of keeping track of who has paid.
Thanks for letting meknow. I'll pm her and see what is up.
We've also had a cancellation for October if anyone is interested.

We are still waiting for pics Iheartdisney!!! ;)

You asked for it! :rotfl:
OK, so my big regret was not having enough quiet time to do a video review of the stroller for ExpoTV. The only pictures I found of the stroller (besides the photopass ones)
I was VERY adamant about no snacking in the stroller!

And this is proof that both kids CAN get a nap! (the one in back just has to have GREAT muscle control!

And here are some random vaca pics!
If you are staying at AS movies, the housekeepers are fun! no towel animals, but the kids hurried back every day to see where their Webkinz would be!

(and this day, they were watching the cartoon channel!)

The Woody's Roundup parade. DS watched it 3 times, never wanted to play along though! See the crowds? We didn't either!

Random Pin Trading picture. My mom HATES pin trading. (it takes too much time. Sometimes she misses the journey for the destination!) And at Tusker House, its like you have to walk a Pin Trading GAUNTLET...there are about 6 CMs just standing outside the door with green lanyards!

Random Cell phone camera/ride photo pics. I inspired some other people to break out their cell phones as well!
My nieces first spin on Aerosmith!

My kids were big enough for Everest!

And i think I might actually have to buy the Photopass CD...Some of the pictures came out GREAT! Don't miss the Narnia Set, and Prince Caspian meet! I'm 29 years old, he was the one character meet that made me feel like a kid in awe!
And when we were in the World Showcase, the Photopass only got one shot of us in China, the kids wanted to trade and practive their 3 words of Chinese vocabulary with the Cm. So he kept snapping while the kids were trading and talking to the Chinese CM. It was really cute, and I am happy he did that!
One of these days I should actually do a trip report, huh?

iheartdisney: You said that your kids were big enough for EE. How old are they? Did they LIKE it or did it scare the heck out of them? It scared my grandson a BUNCH when he was nearly 6!

They are 5 and 4, and DS4 is right at 44 inches...with his boots on! They loved it, but my kids are weird. They've been riding Tower of Terror since they were 3 and 4, and it is their favortie ride! DD5 I'm especially amazed by, as when she was 3, we got all the way to the front of the line at Pirates, and had to walk off the other side of the boat, she was petrified! She still doesn't like Haunted Mansion, but i think that has more to do with the people screaming in the gallery than the ride. If you look on Everest, she's holding her ears. She has major issues with loud noises. And she is SOOOOO upset she's not big enough for RnR! Maybe next time around!

woohoo! thanks for the pics!!! You should do a trip report!
I'm glad the stroller worked out well!

Love the pictures!:thumbsup2 Question...does this stroller have any kind of storage/basket underneath? I'm guessing not because of the extra spot for the older child. Thought I'd ask anyway. I'm trying to figure out what we'll be taking with us when we go. Planning for small backpacks or hip sacks, etc. Hope the stroller is still going strong!

yes, it does have a small basket underneath... its really cool, the back seat is kind of on a track, so it slides forward and backward so you can get into the basket. (the sliding seat is also useful if the front seat is reclined.) It isn't super-big though...about enough room for the rain cover and ponchos, which is what we used it for.

Hi,

I am new to this swapping business but it sounds great!

I am arriving at WDW on October 17 and leaving on October 24, staying at the Grand Floridian. We are only visiting the parks 2 or 3 days so I might not need the stroller the whole time.

My little kids are a big for his age 3 year old and almost 1 year old(I also have a 7 and a 9 year old) and I really need a double for the parks, but since we will be spending so much time at the hotel (dh is attending a conference there and I don't think I could do the parks alone with all four kids, plus it is so $$$!)) I really didn't want to have to be carting the Graco Duoglider I use at home all over at the pool, etc. I'd just bring a single from home for the baby and use the Joovy for the parks!

Please help me understand how this works. Thanks!

Holly

I'm sure iheartdisney will answer you soon, but just wanted to mention that it looks like the stroller is only available from October 17-20. someone else is scheduled to use in on the 21. You can PM iheartdisney or she'll contact you, I'm sure!:thumbsup2

Hi Holly. A portion of your dates are avalible, let me know if the avalible dates on the page one work with the dates you need the stroller.
Pretty much:
You will Pm the person before and after you on the list to exchange information and work out when you will exchange the stroller. If it stays as it is now, with a gap between when the last person leaves and when you arrive, you need to exchange reservation information, so they can check the stroller in your name with luggage services to be picked up by you when you arrive.
When you get to WDW, you meet up and exchange the stroller, keep it until you swap off with the next person.
It is a GREAT stroller, super easy to use, and worked out perfectly!
Please let me know if you are interested and if the dates work for you!

I'm back and we had a great time and the stroller worked out fabulous. I would recommend you take a clip to attach to the stroller to hang a back pack or your bags from. Also it is a good idea to keep the rain cover in the basket under the stroller just in case you get caught in one of those Florida pop up rain storms! The bright orange color is really helpful when you are trying to pick out your stroller in the sea of strollers! Enjoy everyone! We did!
