Yep, she purchased it, it arrived and her DH put it together. Its an orange ultralight. Her trip is until the 15th, so hopefully she'll give us some pics and a dose of Disney this weekend!

I am considering buying a double stroller and starting a new swap. It would be the instep double jogging stroller that is floating around on 5 other double stroller swaps right now (the 4 Royal Carriage swaps and the Magical Express). It looks the best to me.

Hey everyone...we are back. Had a great time but we are so tired!!!
The stroller worked out great. The orange color really helps it stand out. It did rain a couple of days while we were there. The rain guard really helps but there is a flap of material over the foot area for the front child and it still got pretty wet and ended up getting pretty dirty too. When my daughter climbed in with her wet shoes they just naturally laid on that area and it would get wet. I saw someone else there with the same stroller and they had removed that piece so someone may need to do that later on....my biggest concern was if it rained on our last day and then I had to bag the stroller up to store for a week for the next person that it would get mold or mildew and smell...Thankfully our last day was fairly dry...just a few sprinkles so I think it was okay. I also had a towel and dried out the rain guard before I put it in there...I think that will be needed too.

Glad to hear that your vacation went well and the stroller worked great! I heard that more rain is expected this week or two because of the incoming storm (or it's already there?) I am leaving in a week and hoping for a great weather I'll try my best to dry out the rain guard before I put it back in.

Yay, so glad your trip went well, Temery! Good point about the rain on the last day, hmmmm.

I just realized that I know the swap is based out of ASMo, but for my November trip, I could only get a code for CBR! That is pretty far away, not sure how the logistics will work. My dh & kids arrive @ WDW around 11am and I won't arrive till about 11pm (I have school that day, taking a separate flight, ugh).

I'm taking Magical Express (at that hour that should be fun). ME bus to ASMo and CBR are two different busses, I believe. It's early morning Extra Magic Hours @ MK the next morning...is it possible for me to go from CBR to ASMo and meet my family @ MK in time for EMH? I am doubtful....ugh, any suggestions as to how I can do this?

I could ask dh to get the stroller but he'll have our kiddos and the MIL to babysit. For a couple of reasons (trust, mainly, she needs a babysitter herself, lol ), he can't really leave the kids with her.

So do you think I can do my pre-EMH mad dash from CBR to TTC to ASMo to MK all in time for EMH????? AAAAHHHH! Or am I just not seeing an obvious solution??

Hello all,

We will be at Disney World 11/10-11/17 and would LOVE to use the stroller then. I have a 3.5 and 4.5 year old...total weight is about 70lbs...will this stroller accommodate that? What do I need to do next?

Also, I don't understand how this all works...we BUY the stroller as a timeshare, basically?

I just requested 11/10-11/17. How will this work as far as the logistics if I'm not staying on property? We're staying at the Doubletree. Can I just pick up the stroller at ASM (is that where it is going to be based?) and take it back with us each evening (to Doubletree) or does it have to be parked at ASM daily? Sorry for the dumb questions....

Hello and welcome. IheartDisney should be getting in contact with you soon with all of the details of the swap. The way I understand it, you would pick up the stroller at ASMu and when your trip is complete you would drop it back off there with the persons name and reservation number on it that will be picking it up (you can keep it with you at night). You also have to get a ticket showing it was dropped off. It should accomodate your children perfectly. The top weight (per child) is 45 lbs. You are kind of "buying" your days of stroller use. I believe it is $15 (correct me if I am not remembering correctly) and that gives you the use for the time period you are there. What a deal huh!!! There is always the risk that something will happen before you get the stroller (broken, stolen etc) but hopefully we won't have that happen! It is sure a chance I am willing to take to save that $31 a day charge for the Disney strollers!! Once the stroller has been completely paid for we cannot charge anymore, but I think we are a little bit in the hole still. Once again, iheartdisney is in charge of this swap and she can correct anything I have said that isn't right and let you know about the charges. It looks to me like your dates are open and you should be able to join in! Have a great trip!

Thanks for all the info! I'm so glad I stumbled across the whole 'stroller swap' thing...til now, I hadn't even checked in to stroller rental (and I knew we weren't bringing ours). I was BLOWN AWAY when I saw they are $30 a day!!! Yeah, I would rather pay $15 or so for the whole week...this is fabulous. Looking forward to hearing from the powers that be so I'm officially on the schedule!!

Hi, sorry, I TRY to stay off the computer as much as possible on Sundays!
Welcome aboard. I don't think it will be problem staying offsite.
RutgersAmlum, who leaves the day before you, can check the stroller at the home base, ASMovies, or if she has a vehicle and is willing, can run it over to the Doubletree. You will keep it for your dates, and when you are done, check it in the name of the next person, or do a hand off.
