Having to come home :sad1:

The weather was too much on occasion and we found ourselves heading to the hotel pool or an air-conditioned mall to escape from the heat. We like it hot but this was just draining the life out of us. However, it will not stop us going back in July next year when Callum has finished his GCSE’s.
Given the choice we would prefer late October early November as the weather is much more like an English summer but until the kids have finished their education or no longer wish to holiday with us we are stuck with the summer months.

Travel City were fine with all paperwork, tickets etc all arriving at the right time.
Air Atlanta was very good, the plane was clean, the staff were friendly and I think they were better than our experience of some other companies.

There was no one highlight for me on this holiday we were just having a really good time 95% of the time ( 5% being me snoring and me being Mr Grumpy)

Theresa has jumped ahead from 1986 to do a scrapbook page from this trip just for you.

I have also taken a photo of the scrapbook she bought from MK to put this years trip photos in as I think it is really wicked.

I hope you have enjoyed my report and you will have to look out for next years! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Thank you for taking the time to write up your reports, I have enjoyed reading them.

My DS15 is doing his GCSEs this year too, he is busy doing coursework at the moment.

Did you manage to get all four cases in the I4? We had a full size this year but hubbie felt it was too big and I am concerned that our two hard bodied cases will not fit in to the I4 boot.

Thanks Tony for all your great trip reports, I know what you mean about the kids and their GCSE's, my DD has just started Year 10, so the only time we can really go is in the Summer (no chance, I just couldn't cope with the heat) or Christmas (woohoo, 11 weeks to go), then as she finishes her GCSE's, youngest DD will start them, so that will be 4 years without taking them out of school in term time (which I have never felt guilty about before).

So you'll be back to your planning for next year and good luck to your son in his final year.

BTW, you have totally put me off from this scrapbooking lark, it looks too addictive to me :rotfl: and it may take me over - it doesn't take much for me to be come obsessive over a hobby.

Thanks again

Thanks for the great scrapbook page Maddie, helps me get the idea. Looks like it could take up more spare time with disney activities, poor DH :guilty:

Hope to catch the next report,
Claire xx

Really enjoyed your trip reports, Tony and the scrapbook looks like it will be amazing. Sounds like all that shopping was definitely worthwhile!! Thanks for sharing your reports with us.

Thanks for posting Tony, have really enjoyed your write ups, will keep an eye out for the next one

Great scrapbook page and I love the cover of the scrapbook, it's gorgeous! I look forward to reading next year's reports, again thanks for sharing :)

Thanx Tony ~ I've really enjoyed reading your reports.

Many thanks, Tony, for taking us along on your wonderful vacation. So glad that in addition to the pleasures of WDW, you enjoyed some of our more venerable institutions such as IHOP and Wal-Mart. Rest assured, should you want to tour any of the rest of the country, there will be an IHOP and Wal-Mart close by wherever you go--and a movie theater with an enthusiastic audience. So, you all come back again now, you hear?
