I am interested in hearing from anyone who has eaten at The Brown Derby with children.

We have been trying to get an ADR for Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic package, and they are just totally booked. I have been calling everyday. H & V was booked up too, and my husband and I really don't want another buffet. I was able to get an ADR for the Brown Derby for Fantasmic for the night we wanted, but I want to make sure this is ok with children.

We are on the Deluxe DDP, so we are not concerned with the expense, and the menu looks great, so we don't have concerns about the food.

I just want to make sure this isn't a mostly adult crowd that I need to worry about taking children. My older two are fine - very quiet and well behaved, but my youngest has mild autism. She is pretty good when we go out to eat. Ashley is 7 and acts more like your typical 3 year, so if this restaurant serves mostly adults, we probably shouldn't eat there.

Please let me know if you have eaten at The Brown Derby with children and what your experience was like. Thank you for your help!

you will be fine, we are taking our 4 & 6 year old this trip. The food is wonderful. Its Disney they cater to the kids. You might just want to let the hostess know about your daughter, so they dont put you in a high traffic area (if that is an issue)

You will be fine---we ate there w/4 kids and it was great! We were a total party of 11 and they say us in the very center of the restaurant. The cms were wonderful, and we had a terrific meal!! At disney kids are welcome everywhere but V&A's. Relax and enjoy it!!!:goodvibes

My son has eaten there at ages 3,4,5,6 &7. Don't worry about it at all.:goodvibes

Sure there are lots of adults at the Brown Derby but.......it's still Disneyworld and many of those adults will be accompanied by *gasp* CHILLUNS! LOL

Go. With your children. Enjoy the delicious food and the lovely atmosphere....and have fun with your kids!!

I went with my niece and 2 nephews (age 5, 5 and 9). You will be fine and enjoy your meal. I have yet to have a meal in WDW that I feel kids were not welcome.
