Thanks for the advice about splash. The menu looks good. One of my favorite places to eat down there is Dos Rios if you like mexican food. It is really close, on court avenue, and really good.It's a bit pricy, but the food is great!
I would recommend reservations, especially if you are going there before a show, as they get really crowded at those times.

We've also tried Azalea, in the Hotel Kirkwood, but I've heard that is now closed.
Do you have any other dining suggestions near the Civic Center? We are always up for trying new places.
Also we saw Les Mis on Saturday and it was amazing. The cast was so good and the sets were amazing, I loved the screen in the background. I teared up a few times. Also kind of funny I joked with my mom about how we were in the nose bleed section and literally 30 seconds into the show I got a nose bleed. luckily it wasn't bad and I didn't have to leave the show. I would love to see the show again sometime.
