OK BOTS (Kathy). Let's pick out a race for 2010 so we can actually BE there to cheer each other on for races like this!!! I'm thinking east of the Mississippi is the best thing, given $$, kids' commitments, etc.! Let's go, let's go Kathy.

Uuuum, I'm not Kathy, so I guess my opinion doesn't count. Here's my running plan for next year.

May 2, 2010 Pittsburgh Marathon - I need to conquer the full marathon after pulling that muscle in my back last year before the half. It's a personal quest. I have to run this marathon.

October 10, 2010 (10/10/10) Portland Marathon - my buddy who is now in Iraq asked me to run this race with him when he gets back. I said I would. If he still wants to run it, I want to honor my word to him.

Oh yeah, I'm also thinking of the NYC Half in March. I forgot about that one. I was just thinking of the full marathons I was considering.

Pittsburgh's a fun race and a fun city. It's even better than Baltimore which YOU picked last year. Oh wait, that's right, you bailed on Baltimore after YOU picked it...

The only fall NJ marathon is A.C. in October (A.C. doesn't seem too exciting but I would do it once). OD and the Long Branch races are in the spring. The crazy thing is that when you look at where we all live (Philly area, upstate NY, New England, DC area, lets pretend Chester lives in DC), Philly is probably the most central location. Baltimore would be right there too, along with that Fredrick, MD race. That's if we are just using geography. You even have a race in DE but the thought of running loops doesn't appeal to me.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing at Disney in January. I will be there. What I run kind of depends on whether I have family there with me or not, and what kind of shape I'm in. Of course, all that being said, I am not registered for any race. For some reason, I'm not concerned about that little detail...

The Biergarten on Sunday is kind of tough for me because I don't have park tickets believe it or not.

I hear you. The training stinks. Once you train for one you minus well keep running them every 2-3 weeks. No 20-mile LRs just medals.
