I LOVE Great Expectations!!! It is one of my all time favorite books! We read it in high school and I fell in love with it! It is such an incredible story and so well written. I have read it a couple of times since then. I even talked dh into reading it (he was never much of a reader, but has turned into one now) and he really enjoyed it too. It is something to look forward to!
I've read all of Dan Brown's books and really enjoyed them. I didn't like the premise of DaVinci Code and actually thought it was one of his least interesting, but he definately writes page turners. Deception Point was actually probably my favorite. He also has one more called Digital Fortress that is good but a bit predictable.
Also have read all of John Grishams and love them all. My favorite of his is The Testament.
I read Life of Pi and was not horribly impressed. I heard so much good stuff about it, but it didn't thrill me.
I just finished reading East of Eden and really enjoyed it. I'm going through my books and trying to hit the ones I haven't read for some reason. I tried East a few years ago and couldn't get into it, but this time I loved it.
I also just read Janet Evanovich To the Nines. I love her books too! She is so laugh out loud funny and quick to read!
I can't wait to read the new Jasper Fforde. I will get it as soon as I can get to a bookstore. I signed up for the book club with Barnes and Noble University online led by the author! I am so excited!! He is one of the most clever and original authors I have read. I can't wait to see what he has to say in the book club!
