The rooms on the 4th/5th floor non club level....Is that a waterview or regular room? And did you get noise from the boardwalk? Do you remember a room number so I can kinda guess which color building its in on there map?

Have to pick your brain since you were the only one to answer :) Like the idea of being able to see some of illuminations.

alanshokna-butting in here. We LOVE the Boardwalk view. We stay Club Level every year & I actually head down in Oct now, meet up with Nascargirl for our annual Food & Wine Festival Girls trip and we hang with our Boardwalk family. DH & DD love the Boardwalk as much as I do. When we close the doors at night we have never had noise problems. We love sitting on our balcony at night if we our not right down on the Boardwalk. The convenience of being able to walk or boat to two parks can't be beat. You will love the resort!:lovestruc

anlashokna-There are Club Level rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor as well as regular rooms. When we do get a standard room (usually when we stay 1 night) we ask for the 4th floor facing Paris. I want to say the room # was something like 4274? We love having the Boardwalk view when we stay CL. We have never been bothered by the noise level. We love to watch the entertainers from our balcony. In the morning while DH is showering, I love to sit out and watch the boats come in for the day.:thumbsup2 Feel free to ask more questions as the arise. Like sfbank said, we are both heading down there in a few short wks for our 2nd annual girls weekend.:cool1:

I just changed from BC CL to BWI standard for December. Love BC but thought DS would like the atmosphere of BWI better. Any tips on the better standard view rooms? I guess I am most interested in what would give us closer access to the Epcot walkway and walkway to MGM. We don't want to face a roof or parking lot either. I just love the activity on BW and can not wait! May was our first time at an Epcot resort and I just totally loved it! Thanks for any tips you can offer!!:cheer2:

I would like to know which rooms over look rooftops on the Inn side too :(

I was thinking about requesting the building area on the map that is in blue. It has 5th floor rooms numbered 5261-5285 on the top floor. Does anyone know if these are concierge?

We just have a standard view 2 queen reserved and have never been offered an upgrade so we're working based on what we know we'll get. Thought it would be good if the parents didnt have to walk more than they needed to and it looks like a clear view on either side. If that is concierge which I'll have to depend on you guys to help there...I was also thinking the pink building on the inside rooms that fall between 4213-4259.

Also off hand does anyone know where the handicap parking is or if there is any? I may end up doing drop off and pickup at the resort depending on how far the parking is.

anlashokna- The 5th floor is non Club Level. If you request the 5th floor make sure it is an Epcot view.

There is handicap parking but you still need to walk a fair distance. These spaces do tend to fill up with non-visitors during the day and the weekend. If you do have trouble walking, you might want to be dropped off.

Hey guys,

We are going in September and have a preferred view room at Boardwalk Villas. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on room numbers/floors for our room request? We are really hoping to get a boardwalk view room, but I know these are really hard to get. We are able to get there early for check in so I am hoping we can get a good room.

Our preference would be :

First - a boardwalk view room
Second - an EPCOT/fireworks view room
Third - a convenient pool view room

Please advise on any specific floor or room number suggestions to get one of these options. Thanks so much!

i guess I'm a little confused

Isnt the 'epcot' view at the Inn a waterview (which is a bit more in cost)? Or are there actually standard view rooms that have this view? If there is I would definately request them!

Stanard rooms on the Inn side have the view of the high fireworks from Illuminations. You do not have a view of Epcot per se. You will see the Eiffel Tower. This view is considered "standard", not waterview.

I will be back again on oct.1st. Like nascar girl I enjoy a BW view on the club level. I have never had an issue with noise. You will love the BWI, the location is perfect.

Planning our Disneymoon Oct of 2010. Looks like we'll be getting TWO studios at the villas. We're bringing my 21 yo DD and 14 yo DD along for the fun!:grouphug:

I understand that the CL rooms are on both the 3rd and 4th floors at BWI. I thought I read somewhere that all the standard CL rooms are on 4, and the deluxe CL rooms are on both 3 and 4 is that right?

Here are a couple of pics we took at the begining of August, the resort was wonderful as always and the renovated rooms were beautiful. All the CMs were really nice, our room was a standard view and this time we had a view of the front of the resort.

This is it for tonight tomorrow I'll postt more pics of the pool and grounds, this resort is beautiful, this was our second time here and it was truly magical as always:tinker:

Hello, we've booked a club level room at BWI for Nov, plain ol' std room; yet a big splurge for us. Is the deluxe room much better for the $?
I've requested 4th fl, as reading club on this floor.
Do these rooms have same size balconies as other rooms or do I need to request something specific? Should I request garden view? Realize only requests and not guaranteed. We want a quiet location.

Still continue to question whether we should have booked at BC, since we love SAB, and a little closer walk to Epcot; but seems that most posters love the concierge staff and food offerings better? Keep convincing me!

Thanks all.

ASR - I stayed in BW CL in June and loved it! Balconies are all standard size there are a few however that are REALLY big but they are not covered. I really wanted a covered balcony so I request that. I also requested Garden View as I too wanted quiet. We had a lovely view of the quiet pool and interior garden. The only not so hot view in this section is the Epcot Walkway. Features the satellite dish. I mean not AWFUL but I would prefer not to see it. I would word my request "Garden View - not Ecpot Walkway". We loved our location. I am returning inDecember this year and felt that NO WAY could another stay at BWI be better than this one so we opted to try something different - YC CL this time. I loved the BWI Staff. The only thing that some don't like - but I don't think I care - is that a few rooms that ARE Club Level are not inside the designated locked door/key card area. They are away from the Inn Keepers Club Door by 20 feet or so. I don't think it is a big deal but security/privacy it could be for some. These face the boardwalk - these rooms. They are painted a different color door to distinguish Club vs. non club room (my astute 9 year old figured that out the first day, I never noticed!). I can't see how you would not LOVE your trip there....

Thx ScottMel for info. Yes, makes me feel much better.
Is bottled water available in the club, and if so, can we take some to the parks? Are there juice boxes or something for the kids?

We stayed at YC 2 yrs ago, not the club floor, but really liked the property.

Yes, there are 1 litre glass bottles of evian - the CMs are more than happy to let you take a bottle back to your room. A few years back there were plastic bottles but they brought into the 1 litre glass bottles to discourage guests from taking them to the parks.

I don't know about the juice boxes but there are cans of sodas freely available.

Does the BWI CL have a coffee machine in the lounge? A fridge for the sodas oh & what are the daily offerings for breakfast? & the hors d'oeuvres & the desserts? I'm not expecting an exact breakdown just a rough guide:lmao:

TIA
