Hi,
I have a few questions, Is there any type of food court? or grab and go place? Where can you fill up refillable mugs yourself? Do they sell the travel mugs?

Thanks

No, there is no food court. There is the Bellevue Lounge off the lobby which does sell continental type breakfast offerings from 7:00am - 10:00am. It is a pretty room, with overstuffed chairs set up to look like an old englishman's library. They have coffee, tea, juices, muffins, croissants, doughnuts, fruit and cold cereal. You can get your mug refilled here or down at the Bakery shop on the Boardwalk. The Bellevue Lounge reopens in the evening as a real lounge for drinks.

They sell the refillable mugs down at the Bakery. You can't refill it yourself though.

The Luna Park Pool area has a carousel bar and they serve sandwiches and chicken strips I think. You can get your mug refilled here too. All along the Boardwalk there are many eating choices, but sometimes you don't want to leave the comfort of your hotel to get something to eat. We did use room service a few times and that saves you from leaving the hotel to get food. This is something we did not like about the BWI. Even though we love the resort and it is our favorite, they need some kind of food court within the Inn.

Does anyone kow if, while staying at the Boardwalk, you may use the Stormalong Bay at Beach Club? My friend stayed there and said they did and no one said anything, but I was wondering if you were actually allowed.

Just cancelled 2 std. rooms at BC for our August trip. Our 5 travelers reduced to 4, so we booked BWI Deluxe Concierge. Saved $178 for 8 nights. I hope we won't be dissapointed. Haven't stayed there before. Looking forward to trying a new Epcot Resort. :)

No need to bump this thread. It is a sticky right on the front page. Just look for the WDW FAQ and Informations thread. Currently, it's the 4th sticky from the top.

No this isn't allowed, unless they were DVC members (staying at BW Villas). Pool hopping is a vacation club perk and even then, they can be limited at certain times of the year. For all other guests, they are welcome to swim at the pools located at their own resort. I know that specifically at the YC/BC, they have CM's set up at the entrances and they do check room keys prior to granting you access. Once inside, they give you a wristband.

Yes, you can get a BW view with a CL room. I have done this several times. I do like the graden view also.

kerry what can you tell me about bwi
i just switched my ressie from poly to bwi 10 nights cl
how are the buses? the cl staff, i sent them an email telling them about my family and stuff that planned at the poly will they still help me with that ??

Alice, this is my favorite resort to stay at. The IPO is wonderful. They serve all the Epcot resorts and are so wonderful to work with. Do you have their e-mail adress? I find this is the best way to communicate with them.
Which view category did you book? The cast at the Innkeeper's Club are amazing. They have become a part of my family. I usually go twice a year. Once with friends for a girls only trip and then again with my husband. I was there the beginning of May with the girls and will be there Dec. 9-15 with my husband.
If you book a deluxe room you will get a BW view. Some of these rooms are on the 3rd floor though and the lounge is on the 4th. I love these rooms because they have a nice sitting area with a queen size sleep sofa.
I know everyone has their favorite resort and things can happen anywhere, but I will never saty anywhere else if I can get a room at the BW.
When are you going?

We are going from August 13th thru the 23rd. We are very excited we have requested a boardwalk view room. I emailed the staff around 1pm I think and let them know I was coming and was switching as I was orginally scheduled to stay at the poly but we added 3 days and dh wanted to stay there. I have not heard back. I was getting AMAZING service from the poly so I hope it will be as good. I was planning a treat for my son and they have sent him several autographs and treats. I always heard back from them within 3 hours by email. I have some ressies that have to be made so I hope they will get back to me tomorrow. The reviews have been good so I am hoping they will be as great as the service i was getting at the poly. We shall see I hope i wont regret switching :) I also requested 4th floor due to my sons leg he broke it this year and it was a hard time 10 weeks in a body cast.
What are the buses like there are they direct to parks or do they stop at every epcot resort? I appreciate any advice about teh resort and the CL .
Thanks

I booked a water view room - does this mean I won't have a BW view? Do I need to upgrade to a deluxe room to have a Boardwalk view?

MartDM, are you on the CL level? If not then your room may be a viewof the pool or Crescent Lake. If you are on the CL, then you will have a BW view.

The busses are shared with other resorts at times. When I was there in May we only shared with the Swan and Dolphin and we were the first stop both ways. This was the first time that happened. During slow periods of the day you may share with all 5 Epcot resorts. We have never had any problem with the bus. Remember you will only need them for the AK amd MK, you can walk or boat to MGM and Epcot

By CL do you mean concierge? If so, no, I just booked a waterview. Actually, in looking at my reservation, it says water/pool view.

I usually book myself but went through AAA this time for a better rate - the agent said this was the category to book for a boardwalk view (requested boardwalk but understood I could be pool). Do I need to upgrade to guarantee a boardwalk view?

Can someone send me a PM with the e-mail address for BWI CL? I have their ph# but no e-mail. I just switched from BC to BWI, so maybe it will be sent with my new conf. I have all my ADR's booked, but there is one night I would like to get an earlier time for dinner. Thought I would ask if they could get it for me. Looking forward to our first stay at BWI. :)

kerry whats the stroller situation over there
I wasnt gonna bring ours but if we wanna hang out on the boardwalk I will need one for my 2 year old
do they rent them over there ? Also walking to mgm and epcot we will need the stroller so....

I would bring a stroller. They do not rent them there, that I know of. Whenever we have gone with my grandchildren we have brought our own stroller.
