The birds are driving me nuts!

There are some particularly vocal birds in the big maple tree just outside my back windows that are driving me nuts. I am still up...have to work night shift tonight so staying up is necessary so I can get enough sleep during the day tomorrow, er, or today. Well, since about 4:45 there is this constant song going on. The windows are closed and I can here this bird like he is on my shoulder. Man, I love birds but this is too much. What does he have to be chirping about at 5am?

I think it is in the bird by laws book.

Sorry that the fine feathered guys are disturbing your sleep! Good thing you are not here. Our birds (yes, nine of them) get up around 5 or so and start their chirping. I often ask them what the heck they can be talking about all the time?!? At times they get so noisy I can't talk on the phone or watch tv up here. And when the windows are open one of the cockatiels likes to imitate the birds sounds he hears outside. (very strange to sound like you have a cardinal in your house!)

Hope they quiet down so you can get some rest!
