The Big Phone

On my last trip to WDW I did not see the big phone at the end of Spaceship Earth! It used to be a tradition that I'd call home each year on the big phone after the ride. In fact, I didn't see the whole communications exhibit afterwards...it was sponsered by AT&T - was it in refurb or is it gone? Anyone know?

AT&T has pulled the sponsorship of the attraction. Thus, no big phone!!!

Right now you don't even have Ice Station Cool. It is closed for refurb.

My huge joy was taking my AT&T employee ID over to Spaceship Earth, cutting everyone in line, getting free drinks and hanging out in the VIP room! Since AT&T LAID ME OFF IN '01 and now they're pulled sponcership (I still kept my ID in case!) looks like I won't be doin that anymore. I loved that AT&T sponsered it, I loved working for them. AT&T practically no longer exists...
