So went to NYC for a girls day on Sat. I feel like I just opened up my wallet on a highway going 80 and let money blow on out!!! Oh well. I enjoyed myself. Then yesterday was grocery day. BUT I looked circulars before I went and managed to spend only $60 for the week by planning meals around what was on sale. I was thrilled!!

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: I went to NYC for five days at the end of June. Money has this funny way of disappearing...quickly :scared1: ...up there!

Great job on only spending $60 for groceries for a week! My in-laws are coming on Wednesday for a few days; I need to figure out what we are eating and go shopping. :headache:

I will be back shortly to post my spending for today. I needed to get some things for this visit; we didn't have enough sheets or pillows so I went out to get some today, along with some other stuff.

Last month, I was up to 104% of my budget by the halfway point. :faint: Fortunately, I had some extra money come in, and the spending slowed, so I ended the month at 102%! This summer has NOT been kind to my pocketbook! :scared1:
