Made the call this morning once at about 8:59 and got the standard recording. Called back at 9:00 and got through. Had to wait 13 minutes for a person to speak with me. I have to say she was not that pleasant. I explained that this was my first time calling and had questions about travel time during August and some park info. Not a big deal but I was expecting that friendly Disney voice. Anyway we booked for seven days in mid August. We are going to try a Studio at SSR and then we are going to VB for four days.

Wow, MS did a great job today. I called a little after 1:00 this afternoon from work. Waited about 3 minutes and got through. The girl laughed and said she had gotten a lot of SSR calls today.

Well - I got our reservation, Studio - no problem, for opening week!

Then, I called back this afternoon when I got home around 4:30. I had talked to my sister and agreed on dates to try to book for my parents anniversary (we are sending them down as our gift).
I got right through and made the reservation again with no problem. My points are already maxed (right to 150) for the year. The girl again laughed when I hit 150 on my first day.

Hey everyone - I guess I might need to get more points..............oh god, the fever has hit.

I called around 2pm today to reserve a 2 bedroom for Sun-Thurs night in June. No problems, no wait, quick and easy. Now I might have to adjust my countdown clock.

Oh, I think it gets closer than this. Maybe a little hypnotic powder on the documents you sign, a little refresher with every Member Guidebook, invitation to the Annual Meeting. You know, the stuff just keeps coming in the mail.........

I called at 8 am this morning and got right through. I was very nervous since it was my first time calling! I booked Oct. 17- 30th in a 1 bedroom! The lady I spoke to reminded me that I only have 54 points left in 2005 since I had to borrow. Luckily, that was the plan when we purchased - 2 week vacations every other year! I am so excited! I can't wait!!!!

I was so nervous that I forgot to make any requests besides non-smoking. I guess I will need to call back to request non-handicapped. My DH will be VERY disappointed if it is a handicapped room!

I booked also this morning. Got thru first try on 407 #. 6 days in first week of October. It never occurred to me to request water view. Think I will call back tomorrow and add it.
Now I just need to figure out what to do with the other 95 points I still have left. I was going to get my bother to go but he is not on best of terms with his GF. So he did not want me to book for him. But I am going 1st time DVC ever going to SSR my home and that is all that matters. Me first.

I called in at 1:23, waited two minutes and then made my ressies. Booked three studios for six nights, June 27 through July 3. The only requests I made were for non-smoking and to be near each other.
I can't wait! I really had thought about staying at OKW, but the family I am travelling with were really excited about trying out SSR. My son can't wait to walk to the Lego store!

Now I need to change my countdown....
