The Best & Worst Concert You've Been To

My best concert was Tim Minchin last December at the O2... He's a musician/ comedian and he had a full orchestra with him - it was amazing!

My worst concert was Athlete a few years ago - it was a free ticket and I didn't really know their stuff, but I stuck it out. The other one would be Foo Fighters in Cardiff... only because I had flu and food poisoning!

best concert was probably this years westlife concert as they came out over the audience and stopped right above our heads

seen loads of concerts and most have been really good the supporting acts however have been awful. you kinda expect better supporting acts when you see bigger artists but they are often worse. when we saw pink she had some awful racket before it. also before christina aguilera black eyed peas sang and they were dreadful

only ever been to 2 'proper'concerts

Best was Prince - couldn't believe I was actually seeing him in the flesh - I was young and had a huge crush

the other was The Beautiful South, they were brilliant but the warm up act was changed at the last minute and we ended up walking out on some rubbish by Shed 7.

Have been to see Bjorn Again a couple of times with a friend, wish I'd seen the real thing but I was just too young when they played Wembley in 79.

i know exactly what you mean. the first time i saw muse they were supported by the big pink. they had no lighting to speak of apart from a huge strobe light behind the drum riser - i hope there were no epileptics in that night, otherwise they'd have had a huge problem. i couldnt even look towards the stage, and they were on for over half hour. ended up with a bad headache from the flashing light!

The wrost one for me was years ago, Chris de burgh, it sounded like the same song over and over again. pure rubbish!
My first ever concert was when I was 14, Adam and the Ants, front row at the Apollo glasgow, amazing!
When Freddie Mercury died dh and I went to Wembley to see the tribute concert, that was the best ever, just wish I had seen Queen in concert.
Every year I go to see Westlife and they are brill too.

just wish I had seen Queen in concert.

There are very few things I wish I had done in my life but seeing Queen live is one, I have seen them with Paul Rodgers a few years back which was superb but will always regret not seeing Freddie Mercury.

Dh was lucky enough to see Queen live in the 70's
not been to any bad concerts
best ones have been the Meatloaf ones :thumbsup2

Been to a few in my younger years but I guess the most memorable one would have been the Nelson Mandella 70th Birthday Tribute at Wembley Stadium in 1988 and I guess my least memorable would be (don't laugh) M.C. Hammer at Wembley Arena in 1991. Stop-Hammer Time. :dancer:

Best - Enrique a few weeks ago at MEN Arena (the best he's ever been)

Worst - Level 42 about 25 years ago at G-Mex, they were awful and l was gutted as l loved them so much!

Best has to be Live Aid - the most amazing day of music and emotion. Although we have been to numerous amazing concerts, including seeing Queen on numerous occasions, this was the most memorable

Worst - The Darkness at Hard Rock, Orlando - they were filming it for something and everything went wrong so they finished early

I'm with you on this one.....wish I had seen Queen with Freddie....When I was a kid, my dad promissed he would talke me.....the only promise that he has never kept!!!!!

I can't pick a best one. Green Day last year were amazing but also loved Aerosmith , Green Day fans are better than Aerosmith fans.

Worst one - Meatloaf. No atmosphere, really dull and disappointing :sad2:

Best one - McFly :woohoo: Fantastic, upbeat songs and the first concert I took my DD's to, they loved it aswell.

The best for me was michael jackson in 1997 in paris , the worse i will say miss mariah carey , she didnt give here best and too much playback .

The Best: Without a doubt, The Eagles (When Hell Freezes Over tour), with Melissa Etheridge for an opener. The whole show was fantastic! A close 2nd would have to be every Journey (circa Steve Perry) concert I went to - love Steve Perry!

The Worst: Stevie Nicks (w/o Fleetwood Mac). She couldn't remember any of the words to any of her songs and just danced in circles the whole time. AWFUL!

Adam and the Ants, front row at the Apollo glasgow, amazing!

Me and a group of friends are going to see him later this month!! I've never been to a really bad concert and i'm hoping Adam won't be the first :)

My best concert would have to be Madonna's Blond Ambition Tour in 1990 - a great atmosphere at a packed Wembley Stadium, Madonna in her prime with a great setlist and all for £20 ;)

I noticed that he was playing again at smaller venues, I dont think he could capture the magic, or maybe I am older now but didn't fancy seeing him again. But I hope you enjoy. Would you let us know how it went tho'.

Yes I will!! We were deliberating whether to buy any tickets as he's a fair bit older than in his heyday, but then we decided that the prices were reasonable and even if he was rubbish we would still have a good night out in each others company :goodvibes

Oh my god - I was at the Blonde Ambition Tour too! I won my tickets off Capital Radio!
