The Best Time to Go

Which days are less crowded? January Martin Luther King weekend or a weekend in Feb during Mardi Gras?? We are trying to find the best time to visit!! Could someone help! thanks!!

Anyone out there??? I just need to know the weather... The crowds?? We went to Universal New Years Eve 2003 and it was great!! The crowds were not that bad and we rode everything at Universal, not sure about IOA... but the crowds were fine at Universal... so compared to New Years Eve how is Feb during Mardi Gras, and on Presidents Day Weekend??? Anyone know!! !Please help!!!!! thanks!!!!!!

Neither will be as crowded as new Years eve. I don't remember Martin Luther King day being crowded. Mardi Gras weekends can be crowded but still not as bad as New Years Eve. Weather---who knows. Winter is unpredictable.

I say go near the end of February and catch Mardi Gras. Temps are 55-75. In the morning, you wear two t-shirts. In the afternoon, it's perfect, and all the water rides work. Crowds are light, and Mardi Gras doesn't cause huge crowds. Mardi Gras is weird, the day happens early in February (8th, 2005), then all the parks and local places run their advertising thru March, even though the day has long since passed. That's why February is good, because Mardi Gras comes, and no one even knows about it. Check the concert schedule to see if someone you like is playing, but even that's up in the air until the last minute.
