The best thing I ever ate @ wdw?

Most of mine are sadly no more-
Scallop appt from Chefs de France it was on a tomato sauce. I could have licked the plated. Michigan Blueberry Souffle from when CG had the Souffle oven.
so now it would be the Cobb Salad at HBD
Kae

Oh my gosh the scallop w/ tomato???? :lovestruc 2 of my favorite things in the world! Sounds delish! Must be a great flav combo!

Tuna Oscar at Kona - it has a bbq rub on it, with crab, wasabi, some kind of cream sauce - it was just good! (Kona is my favorite)

I've had some amazing food at WDW, but oddly enough the one thing I crave and still makes my mouth water, is the fried chicken at Hoop De Doo. The thing is, I do not eat fried chicken. Never make it at home, never order it anywhere, rarely go to KFC. But loved it at HDD. I can't explain it, but that's my best thing I ever ate at WDW. Oh and my BFF still raves about the ribs there too.

:confused3

Has anyone ever saw the show on Travel Channel: The Best thing I ever ate? I thought WE HAVE to start a thread on the best thing I ever ate @ WDW. If you have a pic add it with your review of what made it THE BEST!! :donald::ccat::simba::stitch::tigger::dumbo:

Slight correction. "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" is on the Food Network and the people interviewed on the show are all Food Network stars.

My outstanding Disney favorite dish I ever ate was at Kouzzina on the Boardwalk. Fisherman's Stew - Scallops, seasonal Fish, Shellfish, Fennel, Grilled Bread and Ouzo Butter. The broth was delicious and unforgettable. :)

Appetizer: Spicy Kazan roll from California Grill

Entree: Potato wrapped snapper from Flying Fish

Dessert: Almond crusted cheesecake at Narcoosees (no pic)

Wagyu beef at Victoria & Alberts. It's the second best dish I have had anywhere.

Best thing ever? This was years ago - the fried chicken at the House of Blues; it was OMG amazing!!! I still dream about that fried chicken....

I have a few:

The fillet at Le Ceiller. Melt in your mouth tender and sooo good. Whoever posted the pic was mean. It looked lick the screen good.:upsidedow

The pork at the California Grill.

The teriyaki steak at the Kona Cafe. Very tasty. Oh, and the bread with macadamia nut butter they serve you before the meal. I had to force myself to stop eating it so I would have room for my steak.

And the brownie from the Sunshine Seasons Food Court. It is really more like a Texas sheet cake than a brownie. Very rich and moisty.

Pan seared scallops at Le Cellier. The appetizer that day was fabulous as well - lump crab and sweet corn custards. Easily the best meal I have ever had.

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

"Pigs and Prawns" entree at the Papeete Bay Verandah.

That was way back in 1975 and I STILL remember how good it was!!

The pacific snapper dish at Artist Point (2 1/2 weeks ago). It was absoutely delicious!

Okay heres mine......................
Maine oak grilled scallops at Flying fish

Ohana bread pudding:lovestruc:lovestruc

Ok, mine would be the Ribeye from Whispering Canyon. Sorry to say it is no more. But I had it twice and it was fabulous. Definitely one of the best steaks I have ever had (and that says something, I am a beef eater).

I would also have to say Ohana's Bread Pudding. Absolutely the best dessert ever...and I am a chocolate person. LOL

Best Dinner...Hands down the porterhouse at Yachtsman Steakhouse!

porterhouse.jpg

Best Dessert...DW and I both enjoyed our desserts at Narcoosee's. Mine was a chocolate moose dome with raspberry. DW's was a strawberry cheesecake:

Dessert.jpg

Appetizzer: Chesse plate at Jiko

Soup: Coconut Curry Seafood Stew at Boma

Entreé: The Filet Mignon at Le Cellier
