The Best Strawberry shortcake and mini TR

We didn't drive down just for the Shortcakes but to watch some spring training Baseball games

Friday - visited the Fort, went to Mount Olive Shores and dropped off more Christmas Decorations for Hilda. I thought I saw Deddie the Otter Spotter but by the time we got turned around she was gone. and the Phillies lost to the O's in Clearwater

Saturday- Breakfast at Lenny's and went to New Smyrna beach for the stock car races.

Sunday hung out in Daytona Beach and Titusville visiting friends.

Monday went to Dunedin to watch the Tigers beat the Blue jays.

Tuesday Off to Plant city for strawberrys. Then it was over to Lakeland for the Tigers game. They beat the Nationals

My mom and dad used to live in Plant City and a visit to their house was not complete without a trip over to Parkesdale for strawberry shortcake. You can a meal out of that.

The strawberry festival each spring in Plant City is pretty amazing. My mom's church (St. Clement's) financed the new church building on the proceeds of the strawberry shortcakes they sold at the festival each year.

We live not far from plant city. Jeff u r right they do have the best. When I used to go to Lakeland every day stopped at parksville a lot.

We make a trip up to Plant City for strawberry shortcake every year! We're thinking about driving up this Saturday afternoon!
