The best souvenir!

Just had to share. Our family just watched our vacation tapes from our Aug. '01 cruise. What a treat. We had misplaced them. Even though we had been on 6 DCL cruises we always were curious to what happened to the "tapes". Well, a little fall cleaning and we found them. Husband Dave used our new digital recorder back in '01 to tape our trip, including Hercules and Disney Dreams. Now granted, the video quality is not perfect with lots and lots of white glare from the stage lights on the main characters but the sound is perfect, at least to our ears. It was wonderful. I recommend to tape, (no lights please), for your own use, the shows. It was like we were back on the ship. What was even more of a treat--hearing our daughter's laughs to Hades jokes. That is priceless. You can only do this by using no lights so go digital. It isn't perfect but for your memories, it is worth every penny you pay for that camera. Now if we could find our VHF tape of the first 7 day! I know we have it but where? Kathy
