It's a lot more graphic than the original HM.

The original HM is just all laughs, nothing terribly scary.

Phantom Manor has a Phantom who murdered the fiance of Melanie Ravenswood, and by the end of the attraction is like a zombie trying to kill you.

The catacombs scene (in replacement of the Graveyard scene) is all skeletons instead of ghosts.

But the music is EPIC. It was done by Hans Zimmer. (the Pirates movies, etc)

It's my favorite ride so I'm biased, but I'm a total scaredy cat otherwise (I can't do Haunted houses, HHN, Knotts Scary Farm, or horror movies), but I adore the HM.
