It's Moday and we have a busy day ahead of us, A trail ride at the Campground and an Illuminations Cruise in the evening. I tell you this because it determined our dinning for the day. We started our day with a trip to the Contemporary for breakfast at the Concourse Steak House, a new try. Again the menu was different from what I had gotten from Deb's. After watching the kiddies for a bit at Chef Mickey's we walked around the corner and were seated immediately. Our server, Nancy, was from the Boston area which made for much chatter and although I've heard many complain about the noise coming from CM we thought it only added to the experience, not to mention watchting the Monoraail roll though. Joe was delighted to discover Country Fried Steak with cream gravey on the menu. To tell you the truth we were gabbing so much I really didn't pay that much attention to his sides but I think it was grits and a buscuit. Anyway he was in heaven. What better way to start out for a horseback ride. I had the Magic Kingdom Express, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and a buscuit. Delicious but way more that I could eat the morning. We both agreed the coffee was the best and when we inquired we were told each pot was freshly ground when orderd. No wonder it was so good. Great way to start the day.

Dinner that night was at Blue Zoo at the Dolphin. We got there early because I was dying to see the Lounge. The room was georgous with a long wavey bar and glass bubble everywhere. I had their signature cocktail, a bulebeery type cosmo. Very yummy, and Joe had some sort of beer. Again I wasn't paying attention because I was admiring the room. In the dining room we we seated at a cozy, semi-circular banquet. We both orderd a glass of Chardonnay (can't tell you what kind because I forgot to write it down) Our appitizers were Lobster Chive dumplings with green lentil puree and curry for Joe, Roasted beets with warm goat cheese, walnut crouton and a basil drizzle for me. WOW! If dinner is as good as this we can't go wrong. We ordere more Chardonney. Joe's entree was the Rare Roasted Yellow Tuna with tuna wontons, sushi rice littleneck clams in a Chinese black bean sauce. Excellent. Made me glad I made him try sushi for the first time a few months ago. He raved and raved and from what little taste I could talk him out of I could se why. For me it was the Spit-Roasted Block of Swordfishwith a tomato-peperoncini salad, black olive orzo and garlick breadcrumbs. One taste and I had to pinch myself. The combination of flavors were prefect. The stood on their own but none over powered the other.
We almost hated to see the meal end, but as always no room for dessert. Happily saciated, we reluctently left for our cruise, but never fear, WE'LL BE BACK!

Wow! You are making me hungry!! BlueZoo is our new favorite place - ate there twice during our April visit and would have gone back again - great service, great food and great scenery!
Glad you enjoyed it!
