The Best Place to Eat!

If you are looking for an experience for your troop, I would check out Whispering Canyon Cafe in the WL resort :thumbsup2

:rolleyes1

THIS!!!!! Great experience, great food, and Wilderness Lodge IMO is the absolute best resort to stay or visit.

Also on the list...

1. Biergarten - Epcot, Germany
2. Chef Mickey (only if your kids -or you- are young enough to want to meet Mickey and friends) otherwise the food is mediocre - Contemporary
3. 50's Prime Time Cafe- DHS
4. Trail's End (if you are breakfast people, I HIGHLY recommend it. We have never been for dinner) - Ft Wilderness
5. Tusker House (lunch was awesome, never been for breakfast or dinner) - Animal Kingdom

and for a quick awesome bite to eat...

6. Yorkshire Fish & Chips - Epcot, UK

ENJOY!

Another vote for California Grill! The experience was just incredible. We weren't right up against a window, but had an excellent view.

Our hands down favorite is Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge)! Raglan Road is fun too - Irish dancing, kids get involved, food is delicious (not the bland Irish food you are picturing).

We just tried six new-to-us table service spots! We LOVED Yak and Yeti! And Boma! Probably our two favorites of the trip!

My sister and I had a wonderful meal at FTB at AK. It was in the shade, very relaxing, much wildlife around and the food was delicious!!

If you're simply looking for best FOOD, with a dash of extraordinary atmosphere, Narcoossee is hard to beat :-) For family fun, I agree with all those who have suggested Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review!

Grand Floridian Dinner, Via Napoli lunch or dinner (Carciofi pizza!), and Tokyo Dining in Japan Showcase.

There are many great places, but I seem to eat a lot at the WS. Some favorites there are Via Napoli (great pizza), Chefs de France (we usually do Candlelight Dinenr Package there), either restaurant at Mexico (La Haciencda is really good). Outside of the WS, Narcoossee's is great and so is the California Grill. I prefer Narcoossee's over California Grill, but both are a great idea. As stated before, Hoop De Do Revue is fun.

THANKS EVERYONE!!! I am so excited! So many great places to eat! I've listed and polled! Will eat at the winners this trip and keep going down the list during my future trips! Plus...I'd like to get a disboard golden spoon! Appreciate the advice everyone!

:yay:

This has to be one of the most difficult questions I've ever seen on the boards (and I've seen it several times). Giving advise on the best place to eat at WDW is soooooooooooooo subjective! o_O There are so many restaurants on site..........so many. There is a true premier restaurant in Victoria & Alberts but that one will set you back some cash:-). We truly enjoyed the California Grill not only for the food which we found fantastic (especially if you like sushi)......but the ability to watch the MK fireworks from your table is something that has to be experienced. For my tastes though, based on what you wrote........you may want to try Mickey's Hoop Dee Doo Review...........the food is great and the show is even better.............and its FUN!!! :yay:

Have a great trip, no matter what you choose :D

Doug :goofy:

Le Cellier is wonderful for Steak and especially the cheddar cheese soup-yum! California Grill is another wonderful choice for the spectacular view.

To me, breakfast at The Crystal Palace is a special experience. I find the building itself to be beautiful, the sunshine pouring through the windows just make me feel good inside, and I love watching the unbridled joy in children as they spend time with Winnie and his crew. And it doesn't hurt that Tigger is my favorite character in all of Disney. The food is good, not great. And people can poo-poo the place because it's a buffet, I understand that. But to me it is one of the things that I really look forward to doing when I visit Disney World.

We really enjoyed Via Napoli for dinner......that was our dinner to celebrate our last night of our trip!!

Some of our favorites that are hidden gems are Biergarten, Whispering Canyon, and the Wolfgang Puck Express near the Christmas store in DTD. Biergarten is good if you don't have a picky eater in the group. Whispering Canyon is great if you have any children with you or like a lot of funny interaction with the staff. WPE has some pretty nice food for a quicker dining experience (they don't take reservations).
