What is everyone's best recommended dining experience? My troop and I have only been a few times and we haven't been to a great deal of restaurants. We have done Be Our Guest for dinner, Sci-Fi diner for dinner and High Tea at the Grand Floridian which were some wonderful experiences! We now have three night plans in April, any advice for something new and fun to try!? We love all food, have no allergies, and love to try new things!

Have you thought of a Dinner Show?...its not fine dining but definitely falls into the "Up for Anything" category. I went to Spirit of Aloha with my daughter during our August trip and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. Its so nice to spend an evening at the Polynesian, the food was pretty good and plentiful and the show was really good fun. It is one of the things my daughter still talks about from our holiday. I've also heard good things about Hoop De Doo Musical Review.

If you want to do something a bit more upscale California Grill is nice, especially if you can get seating during Wishes.

I also took a boat from EPCOT World Showcase over to lunch at Beaches and Cream on my trip two weeks ago and I loved it. It only takes about 5 minutes to get there from Epcot so you can leave the busy park, go have a quiet (er) lunch and then head back to Epcot. They had the most amazing root beer floats...and again if you want a culinary adventure- The Kitchen Sink.

Just a few suggestions. Happy Planning,

If you have a car, I'd check out Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani.

Otherwise, Tusker House is an easier way to experience some African-inspired food.

Teppen Edo is good (show + food) but it's a fairly typical Hibachi grill with a chef cooking infront of you... Depending on how many of those you have around home.

The giant Metro Meza pizza at Via Napoli is fun, and a good pie.

Our family LOVES the Hoop De Doo Revue. The food is good (all u can eat fried chicken and fixins), but the show is so much fun. Guaranteed you will laugh and have fun as a family!

We are just back and my husband and I thought our best meal was dinner at Ohana. That may have been because we dropped the kids at Lilo's Playhouse, but we really thought the food and atmosphere were very enjoyable.

I've eaten at a ton of restaurants there and our personal favorite is ohana. Signatures have some quality restaurants but you get a lot of very appetizing options with ohana. Place is beautiful too.

Hoop-dee-do Revue is a great one. So very much silly fun. Wilderness Lodge's Whispering Canyon Cafe is also fun as long as you want it that way.

We love Boma in AKL for breakfasts and dinners. It is a pod style buffet with a huge variety of foods. Other buffets that are good are Biergarten in Epcot and Cape May in Beach Club Resort. Cape May is a character breakfast and a seafood/crab dinner buffet. Crystal Palace in MK is also a nice buffet with character interaction. It serve all three meals.

For signature dining we love Jiko in AKL and Narcoossee's in GF.

In Disney Springs (was DownTown Disney) try Raglan Road for a fun nice of great food and drink with Irish music and dancing. For a fun and different environment try T-Rex (Disney Springs) or RainForest Cafe (2 locations, one in AK does not require park admissions or in Disney springs).

'Ohana used to be a must do for us but in the past few years we have found the quality of food, quality of service and quality of entertainment has decreased. The decline seems to be the same with Kona Cafe but the bar area out side of the restaurant still has great sushi.

DH goes to Disney with me so he can eat. We try new places every trip.

Ohana is my family's favorite. T Rex , paridso 37 and raglan road in downtown disney are also great choices . And best place for dessert Ghirardelli ice cream !!!!

Here are my top five:
1. California Grill - best steak I've ever had! The atmosphere cannot be beat and there is great service, of course. Book during wishes for an extra treat.
2. Citricos - We always go here on anniversaries and birthdays. It's just the best.
3. TIE Le Cellier and Chefs de France: Our favorite places to eat at world showcase. Just yummy food at each place. Steak or salmon is superb.
4. yak and yeti - wonderful asian cuisine. our favorite place to dine at Animal Kingdom.
5. Shulas - we save this for special occasions. One of the best steaks I've ever eaten is here. Pricey though.

Top vote for me goes to Prime Time. Love the food (Mama's Chicken Pot Pie is my favorite!) and the atmosphere is like none other Disney restaurant! :tink:

My favorite at Epcot is Tutto Italia in the Italy pavilion but some other favs are Rose and Crown, Chefs de France and San Angel Inn. In Magic Kingdom Tony's is my fav. HS would be Mama Melrose. Never had a sit down at AK though Sanaa is really goo at the AK lodge.

Almost any of the Epcot restaurants are always a win. Tuttio in Italy is excellent, the Biergarten in Germany is a blast as they sit you at long tables with other parties and have the oompah band and dancers regularly so they usually show up during your meal, Le Cellier in Canada is awesome for steaks and has a cool ambience with eating in a castle like setting so our kids always thought it was neat, finally the main restaurant in France (the name escapes me, but not the Bistro) has some excellent choices and less "French" than we would have thought. We stayed away for many visits as we figured the kids and even us might struggle but when we tried it last trip it was excellent and has less exotic dishes on the menu than we expected, so would highly recommend as well.

We 'love' 'Ohana, Boma, Cape May Seafood Dinner - love to sample different dishes.

All three of the restaurants at AKL are excellent IMO. Boma, Sanaa, and Jiko are worth the trip. California Grill is in there also.
