Sunday 27th December '09 ~ High 61F
We all slept really well, and I was wide awake at 5.30am. Paul & Bek woke up a little later, so we had showers and left the room around 6.30am for 7am Extra Magic Hours at Epcot
It was really quiet this morning. First we hit Test Track, which was great, but it was a little chilly when you got to the outside part. We then picked up fastpasses for Soarin' and rode it as it only had a 10 minute wait
Next we went to see some characters at the Character Spot. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy.
We then rode The Seas with Nemo & Friends before getting some breakfast in The Land.
We used our fastpass for Soarin' and then suggested to Bek that we ride Journey Into Imagination, when she suddenly stomped her foot and growled 'I don't want to go on Imagination, I want to go shopping !!', well me and Paul just fell about laughing, and it became a bit of a motto if we didn't want to do something
Before we left the park we rode SpaceShip Earth, and then we headed to the Florida Mall, but I was the only one who bought something, as I stocked up on some Christmas votives and jars for next year. We then drove back to the room
Becky wasn't feeling too well and just wanted to stay in the room and chat to her friends on her laptop, so Paul and I popped down to DTD for a wander around the shops and to try out a cocktail or two in T-Rex, where I tried a yummy Cosmo Paleo Cotton-tini. Mmm, it was a fruity martini poured over candy floss (or cotton candy to my American friends), and it was delish
We called back at the room to check on Becky, who was happily chatting away to her boyfriend, so we popped to Epcot on the bus for a few drinkies around the world. We started off in Norway (White Zinfandel & Carlsberg), China (eggrolls), Germany (Liebfraumilch), Italy (Rosa Regale & Asti), Japan (Japanese curries) and finally the UK (Bacardi & coke and Stella), and then we caught the bus back to the Pop
After a couple of Captain Mai Tai's from Petal's Pool Bar we collapsed in bed around 9.30pm
