So now I've got my "perfect" room booked (King room at CBR), I don't have the constant looking at rooms, etc. to see if there was a price change. What to do?

Mess with my ADRs of course!!

I'm going solo and not a commando-style person in the parks, so I'm not overly concerned with crowd calendars (also going in the last part of August, so not as crazy-crowded as the high summer season), BUT I have shifted things around to more closely match recommended parks. Can't hurt, right? (Ending my summer of celebrating my 45th birthday!!)

So NOW the current plans are...

8/18 - arrival day; head to CBR on DME and either drop stuff in the room or store bag with bell services and grab a quick snack OPR (early morning flight means I'll need a nibble - depending on timing I might head straight to the park if I'm early enough for it not to matter); Magic Kingdom with early dinner at 1900 Park Fare

8/19 - Animal Kingdom; PPO breakfast at Tusker House

8/20 - EPCOT; mid-afternoon Via Napoli meal with friends

8/21 - breakfast at Cape May Café and mid-afternoon Bongos at Disney Springs

8/22 - EPCOT with PPO Garden Grill breakfast

8/23 - (departure day) Magic Kingdom; PPO breakfast at Crystal Palace

I'm sure there will be other tweaks between now and August. Definitely going to try to get a ROL dining package in there, but I'll FP+ if I have to.

I keep debating the 'Ohana and Cape May breakfasts - it's not like I'm not seeing those characters elsewhere (other than Stitch - Lilo is neutral), so I could save some money there and just eat at the resort (I actually like the breakfast at OPR)...but I have such good memories at those two places it's hard to let them go. I'd say they are the most likely to change/be eliminated though.

Edited to show changes (no 'Ohana for now and Garden Grill moved to 8/22 - pondering changing Cape May to 'Ohana or eliminating a TS breakfast at all that morning since it will be a bigger lunch too)

The only things I noticed were that you really like breakfast, and that the one day that you are having breakfast not near your park for the day is your 'Ohana day. Maybe that would be a good day to eat at OPR. It is also later in your trip and you may be a little tired of such a big breakfast. Maybe that would be a good day to do a lunch in World Showcase? We are taking a short three night trip over Easter weekend and have three breakfast ADR's, so I understand wanting a good meal to start the day. Have fun planning!

Yeah, when I am at Disney I tend to do a big breakfast and snack the rest of the day.

One thing I might do is see if I can change Garden Grill to 8/22 and do OPR the 20th as VN will be a big meal.

So much time to play - right now my attention is divided between this and my Italy cruise (though that is mostly done now). After 7/13 all bets are off though! Haha!

Edited first post to show changes already again. Haha!
